From the moment I saw Michael Jackson when I was just 11 years old, I loved him. ❤️
Even back then, I felt like I knew him somehow.
I still have folders filled with letters I wrote to him, magazine clippings, DVDs, CDs… I even have a Michael Jackson carpet 😍
Dancing to and listening to Michael helped carry me through some of the toughest years of my adolescence.
Looking back now, I understand that connection differently.
My soul resonated with the frequency he emitted.
I resonated deeply with his mission, his message of healing, unity, love and creating a better world. And all these years later, that message still gives me strength, especially in the moments when I feel challenged by the world and some of humanity’s actions.
Then this happened. 🥹
We were setting up to do a sound healing together when I spontaneously caught my daughter singing Heal the World.
My heart expanded.
There was something incredibly full circle about witnessing my daughter freely singing the words of a song that meant so much to me.
And seeing her confidently expressing herself and sharing her voice makes me exceptionally proud.
Because liberating my own voice has been such a significant part of my journey.
And that’s part of what healing the world actually looks like.
Healing ourselves.
Remembering who we are.
Liberating our own expression.
And creating space for the next generation to express theirs.
Michael’s physical life may have ended, but the frequency of his message continues to ripple through generations.
And today, watching Isabel sing these words, I felt that ripple all over again.
“Heal the world, make it a better place…” 💚🌎
It was simply too beautiful not to share.
