Melba is back for a little visit with Posie and Milla… and these three chocolate girls are having the best time together.

Just look at this chocolate trio!

Milla is our gorgeous nearly solid chocolate Standard Poodle, Posie is our beautiful chocolate parti multi-generational Labradoodle, and Melba is our stunning chocolate sable multi-generational Labradoodle.

The funny thing is… they are all the same height right now! But not for long — little Milla still has plenty of growing to do and we think she might surprise the other two girls when she reaches her full Standard Poodle height

A Bridgerton scandal has unfolded

Our beautiful Benedict (now known as Benny) from our Bridgertons litter has been caught in a most improper act…

This handsome boy discovered the family rubbish bin and decided the leftover Macca’s required a very important “taste test”.

Of course, when questioned about his actions, Benny responded with the most adorable head tilt — the kind that makes you wonder if he truly understands the words… or is simply too cute to be held accountable.

Life with a Groodle is full of personality, laughter and plenty of unforgettable moments.

We love seeing our puppies grow into their families, sharing their funny little quirks and keeping everyone smiling. ❤️

We’re still connected ❤️

This beautiful girl is Betty Sue, we love getting updates from Barb and Simon, her amazing family.

This is one of the most special parts of what we do — our puppies don’t just leave our home, they become part of our extended family.

Just this week we’ve been lucky enough to have Mocha stay with us, spent time with beautiful Honey, received a gorgeous update from Douglas, Lewie and Ralph. Organised for Bruce to have a playdate with his sibling, and tomorrow we get to catch up with Ivy (and hopefully Daisy too!). PLUS Melba is coming for a sleep over next weekend!

Watching these beautiful puppies grow into happy, loved dogs and staying connected with the families who welcomed them is one of the greatest rewards of our journey.

Our program was created from a deep love of dogs and a commitment to raising exceptional companions through thoughtful, ethical breeding practices.

For us, breeding is about so much more than beautiful puppies. Our values are built around health, temperament, responsible breeding and lifelong support for our families.

We carefully plan our pairings, with advanced health testing including DNA testing and hip and shoulder scoring, while focusing on creating dogs who are healthy, confident and wonderful family companions.

Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by love, care and everyday experiences to give them the best possible start in life.

A reminder of the responsibility we carry.

One of the biggest responsibilities we have as breeders is making sure we have accurate information before making decisions that affect future generations.

About a year ago, I purchased our beautiful Honey. I researched, asked questions and reviewed the information provided, believing I had what I needed to make a responsible breeding decision.

Recently, I went back through the DNA information again with fresh eyes and noticed something that didn’t make sense.

The sire DNA provided to me showed e locus result being EE, yet the sire was a red/apricot dog. This raised questions for me about whether the DNA result matched the correct dog.

I reached out for clarification and was advised that the DNA information was no longer available and the dog had since been sold.

My hope is that the remaining DNA information is accurate so I can continue making the best decisions possible for my breeding program.

Honey's own DNA sample has been taken and we will now wait and see if she is going to be a future cavoodle breeding female.

This is why transparency and accurate records matter so much.

As breeders, we have a responsibility to do our homework, understand genetics and make decisions that protect the health and wellbeing of the puppies we bring into the world.

Our dogs rely on us to make the right choices for them and for their future offspring. We owe it to them to keep learning, keep checking and never assume we know everything.

This experience has been a reminder that even when we have years of experience, there is always more to learn.

The goal is simple: healthier dogs, better decisions and doing the very best we can for the next generation. ❤️

Happy Father’s Day to our number one dog dad

Patient, kind and always there behind the scenes — we are so lucky to have you.

You pictured life with a German Shepherd or two… instead you ended up surrounded by oodles, puppies and a whole lot of fluff!

And the best part? You wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you for all the puppy cuddles, the helping hands, the late nights and everything you do to make our crazy dog world work.

🤎 Introducing Daphne 🤎

We have a very exciting new Poodle edition joining our Designer Oodles of Adelaide family soon — beautiful little Daphne, a chocolate phantom Moyen Poodle.

Her name has a little meaning behind it too. She’s named after a beautiful mentor of mine who I have so much love and respect for, so it felt like a lovely name for this very special little girl.

“Moyen” simply means medium, referring to the Poodle size between Miniature and Standard. We are assuming she will be approximately 12 -16 kilos.

And “phantom” describes her gorgeous two-tone markings, with those beautiful lighter markings contrasting against her rich chocolate coat.

We are looking for a very special family for Daphne — the right family environment where she can be adored, included in everyday family life and enjoy all the cuddles, adventures and special moments that come with being a much-loved family dog.

We’re looking for a family who genuinely wants to make a dog part of their lives and who understands the special role they would have in Daphne’s future.
