We don’t see a lemon as a “𝑙𝑒𝑚𝑜𝑛” 👀🍋
To us, it’s another medium we like to use for creating our art 🟡

For this sculptural bar piece, we were drawn to lemons for their vibrant yellow colour, geometric form and spherical shape - qualities that echoed the venue’s iconic pendant lighting above.

We amplified those design elements through repetition and texture, layering clusters of golden wattle and garlands of billy buttons amongst the fruit, then contrasting all that yellow with deep burgundy cymbidium orchids 👌🏽

Sometimes the most unexpected ingredients become the 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 interesting design materials - when you allow yourself to look at them a little differently 👏🏽🙃

When the flowers 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 to the venue…
Like these flowers 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥, to 𝘽𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜 👏🏽

We don’t just create floral arrangements - we design curated floral moments that respond to, complement and become part of the space they exist within.

Whether we’re designing a wedding, brand event, or intimate celebration - our creative direction is always led by our couple or client’s vision, but equally grounded in the architecture, interiors and character of the setting itself.

For this wedding, we leaned into textural Australian natives - loved by our couple and perfectly at home within one of Australia’s most iconic venues. Every floral element took cues from Bennelong itself: its copper and burgundy palette, glowing spherical pendants, and the strong vertical lines and soaring geometry of the Opera House architecture.

The result? Florals that didn’t simply decorate the room - they felt inherently connected to it 👌🏽

Because great event design is the sum of every aesthetic decision, and the relationship between a design concept and the space it unfolds within is what makes those details feel cohesive, intentional and unforgettable.

Whether it’s the fruit, growing bunches or the banana blossom - bananas are an amazing unexpected sculptural design ingredient.
Bringing geometric flair, vibrant colour and playful personality to tropical-inspired designs, they also happen to make an incredible base for floral work 👏🏽

A Mexico-inspired seating chart like NO OTHER!🌵🌶️🫑

Cacti, handcrafted tile decor, sculptural stacks and garlands of prickly pear, chillies and capsicums… this wasn’t just somewhere guests found their seat. It became one of the most memorable design moments of Angelica & Simon’s wedding day🔥

When it comes to seating charts, we’re always looking for ways to create something that’s playful, unexpected and thoughtfully functional, rather than simply ticking a box ✔️

Inspired by the couple’s vision and the venue’s Mexican-inspired interiors, we designed a seating chart that integrated seamlessly into the overall aesthetic while cleverly reflecting the reception floor plan.

Every table was assigned its own species of cacti, represented by a bespoke illustrated card, a matching tiled planter holding the real cactus, and a coordinating table number - creating a visual narrative that guided guests from the seating chart through to their table 👏🏽

We collaborated with Wedding and Event stationery | Plantable Cards to bring the stationery details to life, ensuring every illustration and printed element felt like a natural extension of the styling.

Proof that even the most practical wedding details can become an unforgettable design feature when they’re approached with intention, originality and creativity 👏🏽

One of the things we love most about design is its ability to shift perspective.
Sometimes all it takes is seeing something through a different lens to appreciate it in a way you never have before 👀
Used intentionally, styled unexpectedly, and paired with the right colours, textures and forms - even the most overlooked flower can become the hero 💪

A curated moment integral to the visual narrative of Anisha & Alex’s ‘Mid-Century Modern x funky 70s’ Mehndi - and one of our favourites too! ✌🏽

A traditional Mehndi celebration 〰️ 𝑟𝑒𝑖𝑚𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑒𝑑 through a Mid-Century Modern lens with a touch of psychedelic modernism 🍊🕺🌼

Inspired by the venue’s warm timber interiors, stained glass windows and architectural details - we developed this immersive design concept that celebrated Anisha & Alex’s love of bold colour & architectural design whilst honoring the vibrant traditions of a Mehndi celebration.

Bold colour blocking, botanical maximalism, curving organic forms, abstract patterned textiles, tactile textures, sculptural furniture and bespoke signage came together to create a nostalgic yet contemporary world that felt playful and full of personality.

More than just celebration of tradition, this became an immersive conceptual experience reimagined through an unexpected design lens.

All made possible by this epic couple who embraced our unconventional ideas and trusted the creative process from the very beginning ❤️‍🔥
