If you’re new here, Hi, I’m Stacey.

I spent 16 years working in salons before somehow ending up on the other side of the beauty industry, helping skin clinics with their social media.

I know what it’s like to be the person treating clients all day, trying to keep everything running and then remembering you probably should’ve posted something on Instagram too 😂

These days, I help clinic owners make sense of their social media and create content that actually feels like them.

And while I might not be treating skin anymore, I still love this industry.

So if you’re a skin clinic owner trying to figure out how to make social media work for your business, you’re in the right place. 💜

Turns out 20+ years in this industry will give you a few opinions 😂

Some of these I learnt as a beauty therapist, some as a salon manager and some after moving into social media marketing.

And I feel pretty strongly about all of them.

I’m sure I’ll add a few more to the list over the next 20 years 😂

I’m not going to sit here and tell you followers don’t matter. They do.

A bigger Instagram following means more people seeing your clinic, more opportunities to build trust and more potential clients in your audience.

But you don’t need 50k or 100k followers for Instagram to be doing a bloody good job for your business.

I’ve seen incredibly busy, established clinics with 5k followers and incredibly busy clinics with 50k+.

Because the number itself only tells us how many people clicked follow. It doesn’t tell us how many of them live locally, how many are your ideal clients, how many have been quietly watching you for the last six months or how many eventually walk through your doors.

For a skin clinic, 8,000 people who actually live in your area and could become clients can be a hell of a lot more valuable than 80,000 people scattered around the world.

So yes, grow your audience. Reach new people. Get more eyes on your business.

I just don’t want you looking at the clinic down the road with 30k followers and assuming you’re doing something wrong because you have 7k.💜

Is this something you needed to hear today?

Four years into business and still figuring s**t out as I go 😂

There are definitely a few beliefs I’m ready to leave behind but some are proving easier to drop than others.

I’m learning as I go, changing my mind constantly, backing myself a little more each day and trying not to take it all so bloody seriously.

Which one are you dropping with me? 😂

Having more content isn’t going to make posting feel any easier.

Especially if you’re already sitting on months worth of treatment footage with absolutely no plan for what to do with it 😂

The filming isn’t always the hard part.

It’s deciding what to say, finding the right footage to go with it and actually getting the bloody thing posted.

That’s why I’m a big believer in having a simple system behind your content.

You don’t need to spend more time creating.

You need to make it easier to use what you’re already creating every day in your clinic.

If you’re a busy skin clinic owner who wants marketing to take up a little less space in your brain, follow STACEY | SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT | SKIN AND BEAUTY that’s exactly what I’m here to help with. 💜

I think social media has a funny way of making us believe everyone else has it figured out.

In reality, nobody does, and I’m learning to be okay with that. 💜

No judgement, we’ve all been guilty of at least one of these.

Which slide made you feel a little bit called out? 😂

I’ve seen a LOT change in this industry over the last 20+ years.

But these are five things I feel are worth every skin clinic or beauty salon investing in.

1️⃣ Regular content shoots
Because having a bank of good content makes showing up consistently so much easier.

2️⃣ A good website with online booking
Make it easy for people to find what they need, and take the next step to book without having to DM you first.

3️⃣ Learning how to market your business
You weren’t taught marketing when you learnt how to treat skin, do brows or run a salon or clinic but understanding how to market the business you’ve worked so hard to build is one of the best investments you can make.

4️⃣ Systems that save you time
If something can give you back hours every week, automate the repetitive stuff or make running your business easier, I’m all for it.

5️⃣ An unforgettable client experience
Because getting someone through the door is only part of the job.
You want them to come back, tell their friends and genuinely love being your client.

There are definitely more I could add to this list, but these five are pretty high up there.

What’s next on your list?

Well… it’s been a hot minute 😂

After a very unintentional few months away from posting on my own feed, I figured a little reintroduction was probably a good place to start.

So here’s a bit about me, how I ended up here and what I’m still figuring out along the way.

Hopefully it won’t be another four months before you hear from me again 😂

Little Stacey would be so confused at what I do for work now…😂

But she would absolutely love that I get to support skin clinic and beauty salon owners in building businesses they’re proud of.

Back then, Instagram didn’t even exist…

and now it’s such a big part of what I do every day.

From the outside it might look like “just posting”…

but there’s so much more that goes into it, like so much more!

And I genuinely wouldn’t have it any other way 💜
