RMA26 Opening Keynote Speaker Announcement

We are pleased to welcome the National Rural Health Commissioner, Professor Jenny May AM, as the Opening Keynote Speaker at RMA26.

With more than 35 years dedicated to rural, regional and remote healthcare, Professor May has been a passionate advocate for rural medicine since her first rural medical placement in 1980. Her leadership during her second term as the Commissioner will be critically important to embed rural generalism into the Australian health care system, and to improve the access to medical and other health services for people living in rural and remote Australia.

Appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2016, Professor May continues to champion stronger healthcare outcomes for rural communities through her leadership and advocacy.
