👉 We're looking for someone who:
• Is passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
• Can empower families using the Family Led Decision Making (FLDM) framework
• Builds strong relationships through excellent communication
• Provides culturally safe, respectful and professional support
• Is friendly, approachable and professional in all interactions
• Is committed to ongoing learning and professional development
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) a current Blue Card
• Holds a current Driver Licence
• Demonstrates strong cultural competency (highly desirable)

In this role, you'll help families have their voices heard, strengthen family-led decision making, and support better outcomes for children and families.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate NAIDOC Week with us across Queensland last week! 🖤💛❤️

It was a deadly turnout at every location, and it was wonderful to see our communities coming together to celebrate culture, connection and community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and helped make our events such a success in Cunnamulla, St George, Goondiwindi, Toowoomba and Warwick,

VENUE CHANGE – CUNNAMULLA NAIDOC EVENT

Due to the wet weather forecast, our Cunnamulla NAIDOC Community Event has been moved to an indoor venue to ensure everyone can enjoy the day safely and comfortably.

📍 NEW VENUE: Paroo Shire Council Hall - 3 Jane Street, Cunnamulla

📅 Date: Monday, 6 July
🕙 Time: 9:00am – 2:00pm

At this stage, all other Goolburri NAIDOC events remain unchanged. If any further updates are required, we will share them on our page.

• Is well presented, friendly, courteous, and professional
• Holds a current Blue Card (No Card, No Start)
• Holds a current Driver Licence

The Jaydon Adams Foundation Mens Group is bringing men together to strengthen wellbeing, build positive connections, reconnect with culture and support one another.

Over six weeks, participants will take part in a range of activities, yarning circles, and cultural experiences designed to promote mental, emotional and social wellbeing.

STRONG MINDS, STRONG SPIRITS – TOOWOOMBA MEN'S GROUP

Looking for a place to connect, yarn and grow alongside other men in a culturally safe space?

Join us for our 6-week Men's Group, where we'll come together to build stronger connections, learn new skills, strengthen wellbeing, and reconnect with culture and community.

Thursdays 12pm – 2pm

This men’s program is a safe space to come together, yarn about mental health, reconnect with culture, and build strong, respectful relationships. Over six weeks, we’ll share stories, learn new skills, and support each other to grow stronger in ourselves, in our families, and as a community.

✅ Lunch provided
✅ Transport available
✅ Open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men

We also offer individual support to our participants through:
- Advocating for participants
- Support to attend appointments
- Court/legal support
- Social Emotional Wellbeing support
