Last week, our OnRoad OffRoad Recovery & Towing team attended an interesting recovery job involving a bus stuck in soft ground.

Recovery jobs like this often require more than a standard towing solution. The bus was positioned in muddy conditions with limited access, so the recovery needed careful planning, the right equipment, and controlled winching.

To assist with the side pull, our team even deployed recovery spades / ground anchor equipment to help stabilise the recovery vehicle and create a stronger anchor point during the winching process.

All recovery jobs are different. We assess the vehicle, ground conditions, access, recovery angle, and available anchor points before deciding on the safest and most practical recovery method.

Whether it’s a bus, vehicle, trailer, rural property, muddy access track, or difficult recovery situation, OnRoad OffRoad Recovery & Towing can assist with specialist recovery support across Tasmania.

Our TLILIC0001 – Licence to transport dangerous goods by road course covers the key knowledge required for the transport of dangerous goods by road.

For students who have previously completed their Dangerous Goods training with OnRoad OffRoad, we are currently offering a 10% discount when you return to renew your licence again.

OnRoad OffRoad Training offers the TLILIC0003 – Licence to operate a forklift truck course, delivered face to face by experienced and qualified trainers. This course includes hands-on practical training, theory, safety procedures and assessment.

For students who have completed a course with OnRoad OffRoad within the last 3 months, including Heavy Vehicle courses, we are currently offering a $100 discount on our Forklift course.
