WD Rose Horse Therapy is one of most heartwarming community activities. Working with Dean and his team from Unique Carriage Hire, the magnificent Horace & Wozza (horses!) visited some local aged care residents.

David Folley’s family is incredibly proud to share with WD Rose Funerals and the community that he has been named in the Australia Day Honours 2026 and awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).

This incredible achievement is in recognition of his outstanding service to sport, not least the Caulfield Bears.

While this recognition is deeply meaningful, it is also bittersweet knowing that David did not get to hear this news himself. Even so, it means so much to his family that his legacy has been formally acknowledged in such a significant way.

David is now officially recognised as David Folley OAM, and it feels like a profoundly fitting tribute to a life that gave so much to others.

David's son Andrew (Axel) shared "You [WD Rose] were all such an important part of honouring his life at a time when it mattered most."

It was our privilege.

And a special shoutout to KPA Lawyers for sharing their expert knowledge on wills and estate matters — they helped so many people find clarity and confidence.
