There are now two ways to protect babies against severe ( ) in Australia: vaccination during pregnancy and infant immunisation.
The pathway to protection may look a little different depending on where you live.
That’s because maternal vaccination is available for expectant mums through the National Immunisation Program (NIP), while infant immunisation is delivered through state and territory programs.
