I believe in what yoga does for your body, mind and spirit during pregnancy — but I also believe in what manifests between the women in the room. The vulnerable shares. The post-class energy. The conversations that spill into the carpark. The way your village grows organically.

When you attend 5 prenatal classes with me, you’re invited into a YogiMama Mothers’ Group — a small circle of women expecting in the same season as you (winter, spring, summer).

YogiMamas receive priority placement and an exclusive invite into Mums & Bubs Yoga. Timed for when baby is around 3 months old.

Classes run Tuesday mornings The Family Chiro Newcastle
Time to move freely, connect deeply, and share in soulful chats about mothering.

This community grows seasonally, with care — it’s the investment you make in pregnancy that holds you steady in postpartum. 🧘🏼‍♀️

Part 2: Greta & Daan

The moment I became someone’s mother.
Something shifted the instant I heard those words.

The fog lifted. The exhaustion vanished. I felt alert, powerful, primal — a version of myself I had never met before.
I stepped into the shower. Gripped the rail. Dropped into the deepest squat my body could find. And let out a roar that came from somewhere I cannot explain.

Nothing existed in the entire world except me and Oskar. We moved to the birth pool and the relief was extraordinary. During the next surge I could reach down and feel his head. He was right there.

Sarah’s voice was the only thing I could hear as she guided me through the ring of fire. Slow. Controlled. Connected.
His head emerged gradually, gently.

They checked his heartbeat — calm, steady, completely relaxed. I could feel him wriggling, shifting, moving with me.
We were doing it together.
His whole head was out.
He turned.
And with a few more surges his body slid free.

I looked up at Daan through the water and the tears: “Let’s bring him up together?”
We lifted him from below the surface and onto my chest. Daan wrapped his arms around us both. The magnitude of becoming a mother hit me like a tidal wave. A moment nothing on earth can prepare you for.

His eyes were wide open. Curious.
Taking everything in.
He looked up at us like he already knew us.
We looked back at him like he had just changed our entire universe.
Because he had.

Welcome earthside, Oskar 🤍

A romantic piece of poetry for your bedtime. Read it slowly, soak it in, and let it land ❤️

“Pregnancy is the most sexual thing I’ve ever experienced—not in the way we’re taught to whisper about, but in a way that feels elemental. It’s erotic and ancient, a rhythm that began long before me.

There’s something cosmic about it all—how two bodies collide in pleasure, and from that chaos, life arranges itself in spirals and blood and bone.

This is desire made holy. My skin stretching into new, my hips aching like tectonic plates shifting for a planet to be born.

And there’s nothing small about it. It’s galaxies turning inward. It’s a heartbeat that doesn’t belong to you echoing inside your own ribs. It’s breasts that swell like fruit, hormones that sing like wind. Every part of my body has become an altar—soft, sacred, alive.

No one tells you how romantic it is - to carry proof that you were desired (and definitely still are). I found something more vast than I’d ever known: beauty that doesn’t ask to be pretty. Beauty that is raw, pulsating, and whole.”

📸 2018 — at the very beginning of my doula journey, a toddler on my hip, learning to balance on-call life with motherhood.

Eight years later, she stands as tall as me. And somewhere along the way, birth-work has radically reshaped me too.

There was so much I didn’t know then—and so much that women, families, and birth itself have since taught me about life and seasons of living.

I’m now offering professional doula mentoring sessions for new and aspiring doulas.

These sessions are a space to:

🌸 Gently explore the questions, uncertainties, and real-life situations unfolding in your work.
🌸 Be held as you debrief complex or challenging births—and uncover the deeper wisdom within them.
🌸 Reflect on client dynamics, professional boundaries and how to call in clients you truly feel aligned with.
🌸 Build clarity and confidence around your scope of practice for supporting births at home and in hospital.
🌸 Strengthen your voice in conversations with clients and care providers.
🌸 Discover nourishing, sustainable ways of being on-call that honour your life as well as your work.
🌸 Connect deeply with your values, growth, and the kind of doula you’re becoming.
🌸 Identify meaningful, aligned next steps for your practice and growth.

If it feels supportive ✨ Reach out to connect.

Supporting Families Through Birth and Pregnancy Loss 🌿💜

You are not alone in this.

In the midst of pregnancy and baby loss, you deserve to be held with tenderness, dignity, and care.

For anyone experiencing late miscarriage, stillbirth, or facing the heartbreaking decision to end a pregnancy for medical reasons (TFMR), we provide gentle, trauma-informed, multi-layered support.

Our team of three qualified doulas—a birth doula, postnatal doula, and bodyworker—walk alongside you and your partner through the end of pregnancy, birth, and the tender weeks that follow.

Doulas are for all types of birth—including loss.

Layered support for parents:
✨ Prenatal care — space to explore your wishes, fears, and ways to honour your baby.
✨ Continuous birth support — steady presence, guidance through options, advocacy, and care for your partner.
✨ Postpartum visits — emotional support, honouring your baby, and grief care.
✨ Bodywork — preparation and recovery, nervous system support, closing of the bones ceremony, and reconnection with your body.

Loss of this kind can be sudden, disorienting, and deeply unfamiliar.

You don’t have to walk through it alone.

Reach out if this feels supportive for you—or someone you love 💌
