The Project 365 cohort is the brainchild and initiative of Wangaratta local Peter Rourke and like minded friends & musicians, together, promoting positive mental health throughout the community with music!

It’s with great excitement and gratitude that we announce star Geelong Cats forward Shaun Mannagh has agreed to join Project 365 as our ambassador for the upcoming and inaugural SS+A Ovens and Murray Football Netball League Mental Health Round.💙

Before making it to the AFL, Shaun’s journey began at the North Albury FNC before joining the Lavington Panthers FNC helping shape the player and person he is today.

Shaun will be joining us throughout the Mental Health Round, including at Lavington on June 27 to watch his 2 old teams go head to head, before joining us on Sunday June 28 in Wangaratta for the “Walk’n’Talk” event, walking with us to the local derby Wang Rovers vs Wang Magpies.

Pete and Steve have already been busy visiting local clubs, selling the Project 365 message and selling our Project 365 beanies. All proceeds go back to the clubs in way of Mental Health First Aid Scholarships.
They will be at Lavington tonight, and other clubs in the lead up to the round. So come up and say G’day and buy you beanie to help secure MH education for your club.

Football Netball Clubs do so much more than develop players. They create connection, belonging and support when its needed most.

If you see the Project 365 guys over the coming weeks, and at the grounds during the round, come and grab a beanie, support a great cause and help us continue creating real mental health support within our football/netball communities.

Pete stopped in at the Wodonga Bulldogs this week to have some important conversations around mental health and the role local sporting clubs play in supporting their communities.💙

The team got behind the cause, purchasing 30 beanies, with funds helping support the Ovens & Murray Mental Health Round and our Mental Health Scholarship Program for local players.

A big thank you to the Bulldogs for getting involved and helping keep the conversation going.

Because mental health matters both on and off the field. 🙌

Manno popped down to Moyhu Football Netball Club over the weekend and even though it was a quieter one (bye week), it was still a great reminder of just how important it is to keep having the conversation.🏉

Grassroots clubs like Moyhu are the heartbeat of our communities, and it’s these moments, the chats on the sidelines, the check-ins, the awareness, that can genuinely make a difference.
