These past few months, I have felt like I’ve been standing inside a sacred fire, watching everything I no longer need slowly burn away. 🔥
Old patterns, old stories, old identities - the parts of me I no longer need to carry.

Last weeks retreat - being held by and became a beautiful turning point.
It felt like pieces of the puzzle that had been scattered for so long were finally finding their way home.

I left with something I can only describe as a deep feeling of wholeness.
And it’s not because everything is suddenly perfect, or because there is nothing left to heal, but because something within me had come back home.
And in their place, I’m welcoming in a new energy - one filled with abundance, joy, full trust and acceptance of all that is.

Feeling deeply grateful for everything I’ve called into my life so far, for every lesson, every blessing and every piece that has brought me here - while trusting that what lies ahead is even more beautiful than I could have imagined. 🤍

There’s something so powerful about allowing the old to burn, rather than trying to hold onto what we’ve outgrown.

Feeling truly blessed for where I am right now. ✨

Who else has been burning away old patterns?
Old stories?
Old identities?

What are you ready to leave in the fire? 🔥🤍

Integrity isn’t something we claim.
It’s something we practise.

Healing has taught me that intentions matter far less than what we do when someone tells us we’ve caused pain.
Integrity isn’t measured by what we believe about ourselves.

It’s measured by whether our behaviour reflects those beliefs - especially when we’ve caused harm.
Not by being perfect.
Not by never getting it wrong.

But by having the courage to self-reflect.
To take responsibility. To apologise. To repair.
And to continually allow our actions to come back into alignment with our values.

Perhaps that’s what healing really is.

Not becoming someone new. But becoming conscious enough to no longer let unconscious patterns decide how we love.

Sometimes the hardest patterns to recognise are the ones that were taught to us as love.
When closeness was created through over-responsibility, fear, guilt, or the belief that someone else’s emotions were ours to carry… separation can feel like rejection.

But healthy love doesn’t require us to abandon ourselves.
Boundaries don’t mean we love less.
Having needs doesn’t make us selfish.
Being a whole person doesn’t mean we are disconnected.

Healing is learning that we can belong without losing ourselves.
That we can love deeply… and still remain ourselves. 🤍

What’s something you had to unlearn about love?

Sometimes the hardest part of healing is realising that awareness can feel lonely. When one person starts questioning the patterns, the dynamics, and the pain that has been normalised, it can create discomfort in a system that has survived through avoidance.

But healing was never about finding someone to blame. It’s about finding the courage to see clearly and choosing something different.”

Have you ever wondered why you can know something logically… but still feel unable to face it?

Sometimes it isn’t because we are ignoring the truth.
Sometimes it’s because our nervous system learned that seeing it, feeling it, or accepting it wasn’t safe.

Protection can look like avoidance.
It can look like confusion.
It can look like staying busy, staying numb, or staying disconnected from what hurts.
Because some part of us was trying to survive.

Healing isn’t about forcing ourselves to uncover everything at once.

It is about creating enough safety within ourselves that we no longer have to run from what was always there.

What is something your body has been trying to protect you from understanding? 🤍

Many of us spend years trying to heal while still standing inside environments that require us to explain ourselves, defend ourselves, or abandon ourselves.

We think healing comes first. But healing often begins when safety arrives.

When the nervous system no longer has to spend its energy surviving, that energy becomes available for growth, connection, reflection, and change.

Safety isn’t the reward for healing.
It’s often the foundation that makes healing possible.

Facts rarely threaten healthy relationships.
They threaten unhealthy patterns. Because once a pattern is seen clearly, a choice must be made:

Change it. Or defend it.

Most people think resistance is about disagreement.

Often it’s about what the truth would require.

Some of the deepest dysfunction hides inside relationships that look “close” from the outside.

Because closeness without accountability isn’t safety.
And love that requires others to carry your emotions for you will eventually begin to feel heavy instead of safe.

Real connection can only exist when each person is willing to take responsibility for themselves.

Some families are organised around keeping one person comfortable.
The feelings of others are minimised.
The impact on others is excused.
The truth becomes secondary to maintaining peace.
Over time, that peace can start to look like love.

But peace built on avoidance comes at a cost.

Healing begins when a system becomes willing to tell the truth about what is happening, not just protect the version of reality that feels easiest to hold.

Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is stop preserving the pattern and start seeing it clearly.

✨ Truth doesn’t divide healthy relationships.
It reveals where healing is needed.

Some of us learned very early that love had to be earned.
Through being easy.
Helpful.
Quiet.
Needed.

We learned to stay connected by leaving ourselves behind.
And for a long time, that can look like love - because survival often wears the same face.

Healing begins when we realise love was never supposed to cost us our voice, our needs, or ourselves.

The moment we stop abandoning ourselves to keep connection, something changes.
Not just in our relationships - but within us.
