We’re thrilled to welcome Dr Tayebi to Melanoma Scan Mitchelton.

👩‍⚕️ With a Doctor of Medicine (2014), FRACGP fellowship and broad experience in general practice, surgery and emergency medicine, Dr Tayebi brings exceptional skill to our team. She is currently completing advanced training in Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermatology through the ACD.

Her focus includes early detection, surgical management, scar care, and supporting long‑term skin health.

We’re excited to welcome Dr Han to our Warner clinic, where he will be consulting every Wednesday and Thursday from early August. 📅

With over 20 years’ experience in diagnosing and treating skin cancer, Dr Han brings exceptional skill and compassion to every patient. After training at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, he dedicated his career to skin cancer medicine and has spent more than a decade caring for patients in Brisbane. ☀️

🎓 He holds a Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) from UQ and is highly experienced in advanced surgical and non‑surgical treatments — including excisions, flaps and grafts on delicate areas like the face, nose, ears, lips and fingers.

Dr Patricia is an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with extensive experience in:
• Early detection and diagnosis of skin cancer
• Surgical excisions, flaps and grafts
• Conservative and non‑surgical treatment options
• Complex skin cancer defect repairs
Her surgical skills were strengthened through her work in North Queensland, a region with some of the highest skin cancer rates globally. ☀️

💙 Patient‑Centred Care
Dr Patricia has a particular interest in supporting the skin health of older adults. She is committed to collaborative, patient‑focused care and encourages patients to be active participants in their treatment and prevention strategies.

🌍 Professional Background
Originally trained in Peru, Dr Patricia completed her specialist GP training in Australia and has worked across public hospitals and general practices, including Townsville. She continues to advance her expertise through ongoing skin cancer education, courses, and conferences. 📚
