We’re looking for a caring, reliable, fun and experienced Support Worker to support NDIS participants in their homes.
This role will begin as a Casual Position and hours vary week to week, depending on client's needs. There will be opportunity to progress to permanent in the future for the right candidate.
We service clients in Maitland, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Karuah, Medowie, Dungog and surrounds, so willingness to travel to any of these locations is essential.
✅ Duties include (but not limited to):
- Providing direct support to clients in line with NDIS requirements
- Assisting with daily living activities, community participation and personal care
- Supporting clients to achieve their individual goals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and following service policies
- Some travel within the region as required
✅ Essential criteria:
- Certificate III in Individual Support minimum
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current National Police Check
- Experience working with children
- Experience in a similar role, essential
- Experience with personal care, essential
- Own reliable transport and valid drivers licence
- Genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities
- Flexibility to work across varying shifts, including weekends, afternoons and sleepovers
- Professional, non-judgemental and open-minded attitude
- Reliable and keen to work
- Ability to work independently and respectfully in clients homes
There is potential for additional hours in the future for the right person as our team and client needs grow.
