Dearest gentle souls,

Sharing the gift I have passion for.

Meditation has been my safe sanctuary, a haven that I often go to lose and find myself. A place that holds me over and over when I am scattered, messy, disorganised, chaotic and losing the sense of stability. It's a place I find the hope, answers, calm, a new perspective, peace, insights, courage, confidence ,clarity to keep going on with life. It's my biggest tool and a sacred practice I keep returning to.

It is an honour to share this gift with you guys in a hope that it can bring some comfort, love, peace and calm whatever you seeking and needing. More to come. Let's start with Self-compassion check in. πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ

There are days when I cry over things that have absolutely nothing to do with me.

I see a reel of someone getting proposed and tears fill my eyes.

I watch a video of a rescued dog finding its forever home, and my heart swells.

I read the news and wake up grieving for people I have never met. Since yesterday with the news of Nepal, I can't count how many times I have broken into tears. A passing thought, a friend checking in, a flood video, and it all makes my eyes blurry.

To many people, this might sound excessive or irrational. But for empaths, it is often the reality of moving through the world with an open heart.

We don't just witness emotions, we absorb them.

We feel the joy, the heartbreak, the loneliness, the hope, the injustice, and the suffering that exists around us. Our nervous systems are constantly taking in information, often far beyond what is being spoken.

And while empathy is a beautiful gift, carrying the weight of the world was never our job.

🌿 From one empath to another, here are some gentle reminders:

✨ Not every emotion you feel belongs to you.

✨ You can care deeply without carrying everything.

✨ Compassion does not require self-sacrifice.

✨ It is okay to turn off the news, scroll past distressing content, and protect your peace.

✨ Rest is not selfish; it is necessary.

✨ Ground yourself daily. Walk barefoot on the earth. Sit under a tree. Breathe deeply. Return to your body.

✨ Create boundaries around what you consume. Your nervous system deserves the same care you offer everyone else.

✨ Let yourself experience joy without guilt. The world's suffering does not become lighter because you suffer too.

The most important lesson I am learning is this:

Being an empath is not about feeling more pain than everyone else.

It is about allowing your sensitivity to become a source of love, wisdom, and presence without drowning in what you feel.

🀍 To all the sensitive souls out there: your softness is beautiful. Just remember that you deserve the same compassion you so freely give to others.

It's fun to work with clients who bring all the game on avoidance and resistance! Constantly flipping the questions back to us.
Sometimes, I have to remind them that they are here to see me not vice-versa.lol

We see you! 😁
