Love that I am apart of both of these collectives 🥹🌸

🫶✨ Small businesses supporting small businesses...

But make it slightly emotional and mildly chaotic 🫶✨

Over the last few days, we headed down south to visit another beautiful handmade collective and stock their shelves with some QLD handmade goodness (just in time for origin ) 🤍

This has actually been in the works for quite some time now - lots of organising, coordinating and “surely this will all fit in the car” conversations, 47 voice messages and even keeping some big secrets 😂

Special shoutout to Daley who not only came up with the idea in the first place but is also driving us because apparently she enjoys long trips fuelled by small business chaos and snack stops 😂✨

What makes this extra special though is Danielle 🥹

I’ve known Danielle for around 3 years now, with my handmade earring business being one of her vendors since her collective first opened… and somehow after THREE YEARS this will actually be the first time we’ve met in person 😂🤍

Which honestly feels very handmade-business-owner-core of us because how have we spent years talking shop, supporting each other and sharing business chaos online without ever existing in the same room??? And also very full circle.

One thing I absolutely love about this community is how willing small businesses are to support one another. No gatekeeping. No weird competition. Just genuinely lovely people wanting to see other lovely people succeed. These are the people that feel like sunshine.

So getting to support Danielle’s space alongside some of our vendors feels really really special 🥹✨
