💚 It isn't easy asking for help... but today we're asking our village.
For years, the educators, Governing Council and families at Willunga Preschool have been working towards one big dream - creating an outdoor environment that better meets the needs of our children.
We've held fundraisers, applied for grants, stretched every dollar and proudly saved almost $100,000. For a small community preschool, that's an incredible achievement.
But projects like this cost far more than a small preschool can raise alone.
Many people don't realise that preschools aren't funded for major playground redevelopments. Those projects only happen because communities come together.
Our vision is a safer, more accessible outdoor space with improved supervision, a beautiful new swing area, mud kitchen, digging patch and yarning circle - a place where children can regulate, connect, explore and thrive.
The swings alone will make such a difference. They are one of the most loved spaces in our preschool and support children's wellbeing, emotional regulation and physical development every single day.
We're so close, but we can't get there without your help.
