Just a shout out because she’s a SUPERSTAR!

Our gorgeous allied health assistant, SARAH, here almost since the very start, and one of the best things about this place.

She is studying while raising three kids and still shows up with a calm head and a warm heart every single time. Her clients light up when they see her. They trust her, they love her, and they respect her, which is the highest compliment any of us could ask for.

Sarah brings the kind of steady, positive energy that changes a room. She notices the small things. She celebrates the wins that other people might miss. She makes hard work look easy and never asks for the credit.

So we are giving it to her.

Thank you, Sarah, for everything you pour into our kids and our team. We are so lucky to have you 🌸

Down in Mparntwe/Alice Springs for the Alice Springs Disability Expo 🧡

A great day meeting participants, families, support coordinators and other providers - and answering a lot of questions about what physio can do for you!

The tote bags are going fast, the puppy teddy held his ground, and no one scanned the QR code without being warned that it may result in excellent physiotherapy!

Thanks to Shianne, practice manager extraordinaire, and Nicole, Team Leader legend for running our stand today.

🌅Back on Country🌅

Christine’s old wheelchair and scooter just couldn’t handle the bush or the beach - which meant the places that mean the most to her were out of reach.

The first funding application came back knocked back. That’s when our team was brought in to have a crack, and this time, it was approved. ✅

A new power wheelchair, funded.

Now Christine gets out to her cultural sites, on Country, with family alongside her.

🌟 We’re so proud to share that our very own Trish Narula, Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist, has been nominated for Allied Health Professional of the Year at the 2026 Health Professional of the Year Awards.

Anyone who’s worked alongside Trish knows why. She brings sharp clinical expertise to every session, paired with a calm, steady presence that puts families at ease from the very first moment.

Trish created Giggles & Gains - a free, physio-led baby group for little ones born prematurely or experiencing delayed gross motor skills. It gives families early, expert support through movement and play, with no cost and no barrier to access - helping babies move, play and thrive at one of the most critical windows in their development.

That same commitment takes her beyond Darwin. Trish dedicates much of her time to very remote communities across the Top End - advocating fiercely for her clients, and taking the time to learn and honour cultural sensitivities so that families feel respected, understood, and genuinely partnered with in their child’s care.

Her expertise and clinical skill are exceptional - but it’s her dedication and the trust families place in her that set her apart. She works hard for her clients, every day.

This nomination recognises care that quietly changes how families experience their everyday. We couldn’t think of anyone more deserving.

Meet Madi! 💛

Madison, Madi or Mads to the team - swapped Swan Hill, Victoria, for Darwin in search of a change of scenery and a new adventure, and we’re so glad she found us. ☀️

She kicked off her career as an Allied Health Assistant at Swan Hill District Health while working through her Exercise Science degree, and some of her most rewarding work has been with stroke patients and neurological conditions back in regional Victoria. That experience and energy is something she’s already bringing to our clients here. 💪

Madi is the organisational QWEEN. She has the team’s schedule straightened out and sorted within a blink of an eye!

A few things to know about Mads:
🎣 Keen on the barra fishing
🤸‍♀️ The Pilates reformer is her favourite bit of kit in the clinic
🥭 Team mango (and laksa at the markets, obviously)
🧁 A genuinely good baker, by all reports
🌏 Dreaming of travelling to Peru

Her motto? “What’s the worst that could happen - you have fun?” We reckon that sums her up perfectly. 😄
