The things we stop noticing often have the greatest influence on us.
Most of us don't wake up one morning and suddenly feel overwhelmed.
Instead, life accumulates.
A message here. An email there. School drop-offs. Work deadlines. Household responsibilities. The endless thinking, planning and remembering.
Over time, we adapt.
A tight jaw becomes normal.
Tension in the shoulders becomes normal.
Feeling tired becomes normal.
Pushing through becomes normal.
What once stood out fades into the background, not because it has disappeared, but because we've become accustomed to it.
Sovereign Sensing is a simple practice of slowing down long enough to notice what's already happening.
Not to interpret it.
Not to fix it.
Not even to understand it.
Just to recognise it.
Because awareness often begins where autopilot ends.
