No one really prepares women for the rage that can sometimes come with perimenopause.

The irritability.
The overstimulation.
The emotional exhaustion.
The feeling of not quite recognising yourself.

Hormonal changes can profoundly impact mood, sleep, stress tolerance and emotional regulation and many women carry this silently with enormous guilt.

You are not “too much.”
And you do not have to navigate this alone 🤍

At Elladee, we provide evidence-based perimenopause education and support in a safe, compassionate space.

Reach out if you’d like support.

“THE SILENT WIN”

Some of the most important parenting moments during puberty don’t look like big conversations or breakthroughs.

They look like staying calm, not overreacting, and keeping things normal when things feel overwhelming.

Those moments build safety — even if they don’t get noticed at the time.

The period product aisle can feel a little like:
“Here are 47 options… good luck” 😅

Pads, tampons, liners, period underwear, cups — it’s no wonder many young people feel unsure at first.

The good news?
They do not need to know everything immediately.
They don’t need to use what everyone else uses.
And they definitely don’t need to feel embarrassed while figuring it out.

Confidence with periods comes from:

education
normalising conversations
practical support
and having safe people to ask questions

That’s why Elladee’s puberty education sessions include honest, age-appropriate conversations about periods, body changes, products, and self-care — without shame, fear, or overwhelm.

If your child, school, or community group would benefit from puberty education and support, we’d love to help 💛

Heavy periods are common.
But they are not something you should simply “put up with.”

Bleeding through clothes, exhaustion, pain, avoiding social events or constantly planning around your cycle can have a huge impact on quality of life.

And many women spend years thinking it’s “normal.”

You deserve answers.
You deserve support.
And you deserve to be heard 🤍

At Elladee, we provide evidence-based education and support for women navigating menstrual and hormonal health concerns.

Reach out if heavy periods are affecting your life.

Puberty can feel like one long series of:
“Wait… is THIS normal too?” 😅

For young people AND parents, it’s often a time filled with questions about bodies, emotions, periods, growth, mood changes, friendships, and everything in between.

The reassuring news?
A very wide range of experiences can be completely normal during puberty.

The tricky part is knowing:

what’s common
what deserves support
and when it’s worth checking in with a health professional

That’s exactly why we created Elladee’s puberty education sessions — to provide honest, evidence-based, age-appropriate education in a way that feels supportive, calm, and not overwhelming.

Because nobody should have to navigate puberty feeling confused, embarrassed, or alone.

If your child, school, or community group would benefit from puberty education and support, we’d love to help 💛

THE “ONE BIG TALK” MYTH

Parents often think they need:
✨ The Perfect Talk™
✨ delivered at exactly the right age
✨ with flawless wording

Meanwhile, young people usually just need:

honest answers
calm reactions
small conversations over time

Good s*x education rarely happens in one giant lecture.
It happens in lots of little moments that say:
“You can ask me things.”

And if you feel like you are drowning in all of this, reach out to us at Elladee. Let us support you both with evidence-based education and support

When the conference swag perfectly matches the session title, you know you're in for a good one. 💩

Post lunch highlight: "The Bottom Line" — investigating and managing faecal incontinence in general practice.

It's funny until you realise how many people, especially women postpartum and post-menopause, live with this quietly for years. It's common, it's treatable, and it's nothing to be ashamed of.

Let's talk about it.

If perimenopause has suddenly made life feel harder… you are not imagining it.

Many women notice increased brain fog, overwhelm, forgetfulness, emotional dysregulation and sensory overload during hormonal change, especially those with ADHD.

For some, perimenopause is the stage of life where ADHD symptoms become impossible to ignore.

This isn’t laziness.
This isn’t failure.
Your brain and hormones may simply need more support.

At Elladee, we provide evidence-based women’s health education and support through every stage of hormonal change

Reach out if you’d like support navigating perimenopause.

THE “JUST PUSH THROUGH IT” MYTH

Can we retire the phrase “just push through it” when it comes to periods? 🙃

Yes — some discomfort can be common.
No — pain that affects your ability to function shouldn’t just be ignored.

Bodies are not machines.
Sometimes they need:

rest
support
hydration
heat packs
or proper medical care

Listening to your body isn’t weakness.
It’s actually a skill.
