When we work with these elements, we become part of the Whole
The seiðstafr arrives when you call, this new staff came to me at the perfect time, in the perfect location
The day prior, my beech staff (which appeared for a previous Seeker's guided seið session), had ended our time together and the spirit was released
That morning, a twisted root revealed itself as a staff to weave wyrd and to draw in the messages from Sól
However, a new staff was needed for our next intention so I called for one to make itself known
At lunch, as the Seeker and I prepared for our final afternoon of seiðr, I found it (or rather, it found me)
In the café, amongst a bunch of 'walking sticks' - made by Adam, a local to Springbrook and a talented craftsman
Engraved on the staff are runes and serpents, sigils and swirls
What a joyous gift!
The elements always arrive at the right time - do not rush their arrival, instead call to the spirit of the element and allow space for the union to occur
When walking the path with interstate and international Seekers, I lend my usual seiðstafr to them for our work (or rather, the staff agrees to be their guide)
I then must trust that a seiðstafr will make itself known to me, and I have always been united with the perfect staff at the perfect time
Thank you to the spirit of the staff for supporting me in this work, and for supporting Seekers who are learning the ways
Thank you Adam for birthing this new staff and for the powerful engravings - I know we have much work to do together
