It was an honour to channel the blue moon energy for our community seið session overnight 🌕

Shenoah Taylor and Christine Mark held such wonderful space for us to journey to the spirit of the moon, explore what is cloaked from us, ponder gender of the moon's essence and learn a practice to enhance our partnership with moon spirit ✨️

The sky was perfectly clear and the bright light of the full moon shone upon me, seiðstafr amd seiðhjallr for the duration of our work 🙏

Seið sisters from all over the globe gathered, across space and time, and in pairs we delivered and received blessings from the moon ❤️‍🔥

This is the power of connecting Northern tradition to Southern lands, whilst the sun set in their lands, the moon shone with force here in Australia, adding the necessary potency to the well of our workings 💧

A sacred moment of powerful work, my heart is full 💖

🌕 Blue Moon Blessings 🌕

It has been a wild few months here, culminating in our Rune Ritual Room journey with Hagalaz and Nauðiz ❄️🪢

Focus has been harder than usual, tasks have required more effort, boundaries have needed firming up and distance has been created to bring peace 🕊

As Máni arrives in the fullness of Sól's light for the second time this month, it brings me pause 🌕

The threads are vibrating, I feel the Nornir weaving strongly towards my greatest masterpiece as the web is filled with magick ✨️

As I step outside of the mundane and sprinkle magick all around me, I realise the rough and winding road leads me to the most magnificent mountain peak 🏞

I will never stray from my path, even when the burden is heavy and each step is painful, I trust that I will be supported and guided by my spirits 🙏

Many blue moon blessings to you, and may the load you carry be set down for just a moment so that you can rest and marvel at how far you have come 🎒

Tonight we held a dumb supper for Álfablót. The álfar and ancestors given a place to dine with us in silence. Their favourite treats and drinks provided. Their memories filling the space. Their presence felt, heard and seen. Their gratitude deep.

My mother shared a story of her father's handkerchief. It was given to him by his mother when he enlisted in the army during WWII. He had his platoon mates sign it with their numbers. When he returned home, she embroidered their signatures as an everlasting tribute to the Top Dogs platoon.

This piece of material, touched by so many hands, with so many hearts, is now a loving reminder of care and comraderie.

Thank you for sharing this story with me.

Vali rang the bell to signal the start and end of the supper - a 7 year old boy with AuDHD silent and present for this powerful moment in time. When we finished, he said he saw a blue light around us, g g. grandad there (points to his place) and your mother there (points to where my dad's mother's place was set) and lots of other little chairs around (gestures around the table).

A wondrous moment where his gifts were familiar and free. No disbelief. No ridicule. Just pure love and acceptance.

In that moment, something was healed.

Some might call it the witch wound. That generational fear of magick, of power, of gifts reaching beyond the veil.

This aligning with the arrival of the Scottish witch trial book is profound.

At the table sat three human beings, yet many more-than-human beings.

My heart (and home) are full.

What a magnificent creation, an enduring, living memorial for the 4000 Scottish daughters and sons killed during the Witch Trials ❤️‍🔥

Each name listed, visual artworks speak to the known and unknown, poetry woven into the web of wyrd 🪢

An international collaboration of souls committed to healing the trauma of the past, to reclaim and honour and mourn 🙏

They will never be forgotten, for their voices speak through the pages of this book, unlocked after centuries of silence 🗝

There are no words to express my soul-felt gratitude for - Rowan and her team have exceeded any expectations for this everlasting memorial 🫶

Thank you to my dear soul sister for channeling Marion Veitch with me, our shapeshifting bee 🐝 and raven 🐦‍⬛ witch, perhaps her essence flows through us ✨️

To all of the collaborators, you have healed parts of me I didn't know were broken and strengthened parts of me my ancestors had stripped away - thank you 🖤

For those accused and executed - we remember you. We will rise from your ashes and burn the institution that dishonoured you to the ground. We will live as witches, we will sing the songs of the faeries, we will dance naked under the moon, and we will heal, we will help, we will thrive. Scotland's magick never died. It is with immense pleasure that we welcome Sharee Wallace as the host of this year's Álfablót, held atop the magnificent Springbrook Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Queensland 🏞

We gather in the evening at the end of Autumn, when the harvest is done and the animals are fattened 🌅

Álfablót is a tradition of honouring the 'unseen' yet ever present: the elves (álfar) and our ancestors 🙏

We give thanks to the álfar for their caretaking of the land and protection of our home 🧝‍♂️🧝‍♀️

We give thanks to our ancestors for their support and protection ⚔️

Bring an offering for the álfar 🥛

Bring an offering for the ancestors 🍛

Bring a representation of your ancestors 🖼

Bring a cup or drinking horn 🍺

Join in an evening feast, please bring a plate of food to share, cutlery and utensils 🍽

(This will take place as a dumb supper for the first portion of the meal)

You might like to bring along some of your loved ones' favourite foods as we will set a place at the table for those in spirit 🫶
