🌧️ Important Update: Beltane Community Gathering Cancelled 🌧️

Dear Beltane Community,

It is with a very heavy heart that we must announce the cancellation of the Beltane Community Gathering scheduled for next weekend at Rocky Creek.

The venue management has made the difficult decision to withdraw the use of the property due to safety concerns following the extreme rainfall the area has received. The grounds are already heavily waterlogged, having received over 100mm of rain in a single day, with significantly more rain forecast in the lead-up to the event.

Unfortunately, the condition of the property means that safe access, vehicle parking, camping, market operations, and pedestrian movement cannot be guaranteed. After careful consideration, the decision has been made that proceeding would place attendees, stallholders, campers, volunteers, and the venue itself at unnecessary risk.

While we are incredibly disappointed, the safety and wellbeing of our community must always come first.

We understand many of you were looking forward to gathering together to celebrate Beltane, and we share that disappointment. However, rather than ending the year on a sad note, we are already exploring the possibility of hosting a replacement gathering on 12 & 13 December as a Summer Solstice Community Gathering.

While details are still being finalised, we wanted to let everyone know that we are actively working towards bringing our community together before the end of the year.

Ticket Holders We will be contacting all ticket holders shortly regarding their options and next steps. Please bear with us while we work through the arrangements.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support of our events. We know this news is disappointing, but we look forward to celebrating together under sunnier skies very soon.

🪡 Sacred Markings 🪡

A bindrune gifted to me beneath the trees in Sweden, now handpoked into flesh beneath the trees in Australia.

Deep gratitude to for working with me in ceremony, hours laying outside beneath the soaring eagle, singing magpies and swaying branches.

Over a year of planning, the stars finally aligned and I could not be happier.

Desiree, thank you for the tales, for being so accommodating and to you and for opening your home and hearth to me. (And the fresh eggs and amazing vegan blueberry cheesecake!)

Sacred markings are not regular tattoos. They are deeply profound moments where the skin is transformed, blood mingles with blessed ink to leave an enduring memory of spirit gifts.
