🦷 Surgical Extraction of an Impacted Lower Right Third Molar (48) due to Pericoronitis:

An 18-year-old patient presented with pericoronitis associated with an impacted lower right wisdom tooth. She was extremely anxious and frightened before the procedure.

I reassured her that everything would be fine, In shaa Allah, and once we started, she placed her trust in me. Knowing how nervous she was, my goal was to complete the procedure as efficiently and atraumatically as possible without compromising quality.

Alhamdulillah, with Allah's blessings, the tooth was successfully removed within approximately 15 minutes.

The next challenge came after the extraction. As soon as the patient realized the tooth was out, she became reluctant to cooperate any further. After patiently explaining that only a few more minutes were needed to complete the procedure properly, she agreed.

The extraction site was closed with one figure-of-eight suture and one interrupted suture, and the procedure was completed successfully.

Alhamdulillah for another successful case. Every procedure is not just about surgical skill—it's also about earning a patient's trust, managing their anxiety, and ensuring they leave with a positive experience.

Successfully performed the surgical extraction of a horizontally impacted lower left third molar.

A challenging case that required careful planning, precision, and patience from start to finish. Every difficult extraction is a reminder that oral surgery is not just about removing a tooth—it's about doing it safely while preserving the surrounding structures and ensuring the best possible outcome for the patient.
