কান্না, চিৎকার, রাগ, আক্রমণাত্মক আচরণ বা Meltdown সবসময় দুষ্টুমি নয়। অনেক সময় শিশুর নিজের আবেগ নিয়ন্ত্রণ, প্রয়োজন প্রকাশ বা নিজেকে শান্ত করার দক্ষতা এখনও পুরোপুরি তৈরি হয়নি।

💚 Self-Regulation একটি দক্ষতা—এটি শেখানো ও অনুশীলন করা যায়।

“বাচ্চা কথা বলছে, কিন্তু একই কথা বারবার বলছে কেন?” 🗣️

আপনার সন্তান কি আপনার বলা কথা, কোনো প্রশ্ন বা শোনা বাক্য হুবহু বারবার বলে?

এটিকে বলা হয় Echolalia (ইকোলালিয়া)।

Echolalia অনেক সময় Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), language delay বা অন্যান্য developmental differences-এর সঙ্গে দেখা যেতে পারে। তবে Echolalia মানেই Autism নয়।

কখনও এটি শিশুর যোগাযোগ শেখার একটি ধাপও হতে পারে। তাই শুধু “বারবার কথা বলছে” দেখে সিদ্ধান্ত না নিয়ে বুঝতে হবে—শিশুটি কেন এই কথাগুলো বলছে এবং এর মাধ্যমে কী বোঝাতে চাইছে।

সঠিক assessment-এর মাধ্যমে Speech & Language Therapist শিশুর:

👂 Understanding of language
💬 Functional communication
🧠 Social interaction

মূল্যায়ন করে প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী therapy plan তৈরি করতে পারেন।
