গভীর শোক ও দুঃখের সাথে জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, বাংলাদেশের ফার্মেসী শিক্ষা, গবেষণা ও স্বাস্থ্যসেবার অন্যতম পথিকৃৎ অধ্যাপক আ. ব. ম. ফারুক স্যার গত ১৩ আগস্ট ২০২৬ নিউইয়র্ক সময় রাত ৮টা ০৭ মিনিটে ইন্তেকাল করেছেন।

তিনি ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ফার্মেসী অনুষদের সাবেক ডিন এবং আধুনিক ফার্মেসী শিক্ষার অগ্রযাত্রায় একজন নিবেদিতপ্রাণ শিক্ষক, গবেষক ও মেন্টর ছিলেন। তাঁর প্রজ্ঞা, সততা, নিষ্ঠা ও অসামান্য অবদান বাংলাদেশের ফার্মেসী অঙ্গনে চিরস্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবে।

ডিপার্টমেন্ট অফ ফার্মেসি পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে আমরা তাঁর বিদেহী আত্মার মাগফিরাত কামনা করছি। মহান আল্লাহ তাঁকে জান্নাতুল ফেরদৌসের সর্বোচ্চ মাকাম দান করুন এবং তাঁর শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবার, শিক্ষার্থী, সহকর্মী ও শুভানুধ্যায়ীদের এই গভীর শোক সহ্য করার তাওফিক দান করুন। আমিন।

The Department of Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC), successfully organized the Freshers’ Orientation Program for the newly admitted students of the 38th Batch (1st Semester).
