POSITION: Manager Research & Evaluation
JOB TYPE: Full-time
LOCATION: Dhaka (Mirpur)
SALARY: Negotiable. Commensurate with experience and qualification.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
The Manager - Research & Evaluation position requires a minimum educational background of a Master's degree in Social Science disciplines such as Anthropology, Economics, Sociology, Statistics, or other relevant subjects. Candidates are expected to have completed their postgraduate studies in one or more of these fields to ensure a strong foundation in social research methodologies, data analysis, and relevant theoretical frameworks.
ī At least 5 years working experience in relevant fields preferably in the field of research, monitoring, evaluation, and learning sector
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead and oversee research projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
2. Develop comprehensive research strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
3. Supervise and mentor research teams, providing guidance and support.
4. Design methodologies and frameworks for data collection and analysis.
5. Conduct evaluations to assess program effectiveness and impact.
6. Prepare detailed reports, presenting findings and actionable insights.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to define research goals and methodologies.
8. Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
9. Implement best practices in research methodologies and data analysis.
10. Ensure adherence to ethical standards and compliance with regulations.
11. Analyze and interpret complex data sets to derive meaningful conclusions.
12. Develop and maintain partnerships with external research entities.
13. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in research methods.
14. Communicate research outcomes through presentations or publications.
15. Review and approve research proposals and protocols.
16. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
17. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into actionable strategies.
18. Monitor and evaluate project progress to meet objectives and deliverables.
19. Provide strategic recommendations based on research outcomes.
20. Undertake any additional assignments suggested by the respective supervisor.
