Disease Awareness Guide #16
🚨 MEASLES: Not Just a “Childhood Rash”🚨
Think it’s harmless? Think again. 🤒
Right now, measles cases are rising and becoming very dangerous in Bangladesh 🇧🇩—and it spreads fast. One infected person can pass it to 9 out of 10 unvaccinated people nearby.
✨ Watch out for:
• High fever 🔥
• Runny nose & cough 🤧
• Red eyes
• That red rash spreading from face to body
💡 Why it matters:
Measles can lead to serious complications like pneumonia, blindness, and even brain swelling. In severe cases, it can be deadly—especially for children and those not vaccinated.
🛡️ Good news? It’s preventable with the MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella) vaccine 💉
👇 Let’s make this interactive:
Did you (or your family) get vaccinated?
Comment YES 💉 or NOT SURE 🤔
