We invest our life, love, patience, fortune, peace, heath and everything that we have on our kids. I don’t think a parent wants anything above the wellbeing of their child.
This girl, Ramisa was no different. I saw a post where her father was crying and saying how will he sleep for the rest of his life. Ever since all the happiness of my life is in pause.
Today was my daughter’s first bus ride to their Bashundhara campus. All her friends were in the bus, they were going for their stage rehearsal. Every single child was excited and so were we. I was so proud seeing my tiny girl walking in a bus leaving me behind! I was so happy! But at the end of this excitement and happiness I remembered Ramisa. How can I be happy when someone else’s daughter is brutally r***d and murdered? Anything but this???
Last night I was watching my daughter sleep and thinking of the uncertainty of the world! Will I be able to protect her all her life and watch her sleep peacefully in the end of the day? Will I be able to protect her so that she can live this life fully?
The trophies that Ramisa earned is not only for the talent she possessed, but also the endless care that her parents have given her over these years.
We need serious punishments for crimes like r**e, molestatation or abuse of any sort. These heinous acts must not need any trial. A criminal who is guilty undoubtedly, what’s the point of dragging him to a court? He should be stoned to death or publicly hanged till death. The punishment must be so brutal that no one dares to think about it.
Not only that, the increasing mass population who owns a smart phone and publicly comment about ideas like having s** or ra**ng a child must encounter the similar punishment.
Even the thoughts of such crimes will be erased from the world if strict and brutal measures are taken against these inhumane acts.
