At first glance, anxious and avoidant attachment styles seem like complete opposites. But they're more alike than they appear.

Not only are they similar, they also complement each other in many ways.

💙 Avoidant partners often rely on anxious partners to bring emotional intensity into the relationship, emotions they struggle to access themselves.

❤ Anxious partners may resent an avoidant's independence, but often wish they could feel that same sense of freedom and self-sufficiency.

The real problem? They tend to trigger each other's deepest wounds.

The result is a relationship filled with anxiety, misunderstandings, conflict, and emotional ups and downs.

🥺 It may feel like this dynamic will never change.

💑 But it can.

Today, we know more than ever about attachment styles and how they can change. People transform these patterns every day and build healthier, more secure relationships.

The question is: do you want to keep repeating the same cycle, or give yourself a chance to experience something different?

When there's still a wounded little girl living inside you... it can hold you back from living the life you truly want.

• While an adult woman MAKES CHOICES, a little girl SETTLES.
• While an adult woman TAKES ACTION, a little girl WAITS.
• While an adult woman MAKES DECISIONS, a little girl HESITATES.
• While an adult woman GOES AFTER what she wants, a little girl simply HOPES things will change.

It's hard to build a fulfilling life when your wounded inner child is still in the driver's seat, carrying old fears, unmet needs, and emotional wounds from the past.

That's why it's so important to acknowledge her, give her the love, care, and compassion she may not have received, while also strengthening your healthy adult self, the part of you that's capable of making choices, taking action, and creating the life you want.

When your healthy adult self takes the wheel, you stop merely getting through life and start fully living it.

What's the difference between “I need some personal space” and being ignored?

After all, any disappearance can be explained as, “I just need some personal space. What's the problem?”

Let's draw the line.

⚠ If your partner disappears for several days or weeks, completely ignores you, doesn't respond to your messages or calls, and stops communicating with you altogether, that's a major red flag. In most cases, relationships like this are very difficult to repair.

🤝 If your partner needs more alone time than you do, if they distance themselves when faced with strong emotions, or if they need fewer meetings and interactions than you do, but they don't completely vanish and they stay in contact, this points to an avoidant attachment style.

Avoidant behavior can be triggering. It may bring up fear, anxiety, hurt, anger, and confusion.

But here's something important to know: avoidantly attached people ARE capable of relationships, and it IS possible to build genuine intimacy with them.

How do you do that? With the help of our course "Counter-dependency".

What does the “good girl” syndrome look like?

– you always put other people’s needs before your own
– you’re afraid of disappointing or hurting someone
– you feel anxious or guilty when you don’t meet other people’s expectations
– saying no feels almost impossible

As a result, you spend your life taking care of others, both emotionally and practically. You tend to attract people who take advantage of your kindness without giving much in return.

Deep down, you already know this pattern isn’t making you happy. But breaking free from it feels impossible :(

✨ The good news? You can change.

She wanted a healthy relationship… but instead she found herself living with constant stress, tears, and nonstop disappointment.

He treats her badly—and she ends up apologizing.
He lies—and she thinks it’s her fault.
He uses her—and she keeps hoping he’ll change.

And meanwhile she convinces herself: “Relationships are hard. This is normal.”

But what she’s feeling isn’t normal love. It’s codependency.

A real “knight” looks like this:

- “I’ll come with you so you don’t have to worry alone.”
- “We’ll handle this together.”
- “I can tell this matters to you, let’s talk.”
- “A break from you? I’m not tired of you.”
- “I don’t fully get it yet, but I want to.”

Real love isn’t grand gestures, it’s the everyday words and actions that make you feel chosen, safe, and cared for.
