Why you might be standing in the way of your own happiness ⤵

We know this isn’t easy to hear, but if you really want a relationship and it just never seems to happen, part of the reason may be closer to home than you think.

Just not in the way you usually assume.

A lot of women ask themselves:

– “Am I just not attractive enough?”
– “What’s wrong with me?”
– “Maybe no one wants me anymore?”
– “Maybe I’m asking for too much…”

But those questions usually miss the point.

What’s really getting in the way is often:

– fear
– self-doubt
– not knowing how to build a healthy relationship

And all of that affects how you show up.

You may come across as guarded without realizing it. You may push people away. You may even overlook good potential partners because they don’t fit the patterns you’re used to.

Meanwhile, time keeps passing.

The good news is that these patterns can change when you work on the deeper reasons behind them.

❤ That’s exactly what our “Anti-Loneliness” course is designed to help with.

What happens when you look for a relationship from a place of emptiness? ⤵

Usually, disappointment.

Because when you feel like you desperately need love, connection, or a partner, it becomes much easier to settle for things you normally wouldn’t.

And that’s how you can end up in another relationship that hurts more than it gives.

Dating from a more grounded place feels completely different.

You still want love, warmth, and connection — but you don’t feel like you need someone to fill a hole inside you or make you feel okay.

You date with curiosity instead of anxiety.
You open up instead of tensing up.
And you don’t attach yourself to the first person who gives you attention — you take your time and choose what actually feels right for you.

If your love life hasn’t been working out for a while, it may be worth asking yourself:

What place am I dating from?

Sometimes, the answer starts there.

❤ Our “Anti Loneliness” self-therapy course can help you move from dating out of fear and lack to dating from a more secure, grounded place.

Why is it so hard to focus on yourself after a breakup? ⤵

Here are 3 common reasons:

1. Your anxiety is through the roof.

A breakup changes your whole sense of normal. You don’t know what comes next, so your nervous system can go into overdrive.

And one of the easiest ways to cope with that anxiety is to stay focused on your ex: checking their social media, replaying everything in your head, or thinking about how to get them back.

2. The relationship took a toll on your self-esteem.

If the relationship was painful, unstable, or made you question your worth, turning your attention back to yourself can feel especially difficult.

3. You’re used to pushing your feelings away.

Instead of letting yourself grieve, you may distract yourself, suppress the pain, or try to move on too quickly.

But healing usually starts when you allow yourself to actually feel what happened.

If any of this sounds familiar and you’re struggling to move through a breakup, psychology can help.

How can body insecurities affect intimacy? ⤵

A lot depends on how you feel about your body.

If you believe that having small breasts, gaining some weight, or not looking a certain way makes you less attractive, less feminine, or somehow “not enough,” those beliefs can start to shape your experience of intimacy.

– You may stay tense because you’re focused on hiding what you see as a “flaw.”
– That tension can make it harder to relax and be present with your partner.
– When you can’t fully relax, pleasure can become harder to access, and intimacy may start to feel routine, uncomfortable, or even painful.
– Over time, your body may begin to associate intimacy with stress or discomfort, which can lower desire.

The good news is that these patterns can be worked on.

Psychological support can help you challenge body-related insecurities, reduce the tension they create, and feel more comfortable and connected in your body.

People with anxious attachment crave closeness, but often struggle to build it in a healthy way.

Real intimacy is about two people whose needs matter equally. But with anxious attachment, fear can take over, and the partner can start to feel responsible for constantly reassuring and calming you.

You may care deeply about them, but sometimes that care is driven by one fear: “Please don’t leave.”

That can make the relationship revolve more around managing your anxiety than truly connecting with your partner.

And over time, the other person may feel pressured, drained, or responsible for your emotional state.

The way out is to work on your attachment patterns and build a more secure, grounded way of relating.

😍 Our self-therapy course “Don’t Leave Me” was created to help with exactly that.

“I want everything to be perfect” ⤵

Wanting a relationship to feel perfect can be a common pattern with anxious attachment.

Everyone has their own version of “perfect.” Maybe it’s coffee in bed every morning. Maybe it’s having a partner who always knows what to do. Maybe it’s expecting the relationship to feel easy, supportive, and conflict-free all the time.

But real relationships don’t work that way.

Your partner might get frustrated. They might disagree with you. They might not have the energy to support you in the moment. Sometimes, they simply won’t understand what you need.

And when you have anxious attachment, those normal moments can quickly start to feel like signs that something is seriously wrong:

“They don’t love me.”
“They don’t appreciate me.”
“They don’t really see me.”
“They’re going to leave.”

That’s often anxiety talking.

It can convince you that “perfect” means “safe,” and that if the relationship doesn’t feel exactly the way you need it to, something must be wrong.

It can also make you so focused on your own fears that it becomes harder to see your partner’s needs and perspective.

If you want a relationship that feels truly strong, secure, and healthy, learning to manage relationship anxiety and work on your attachment patterns can make a huge difference.

Our self-help course “Don’t Leave Me” was created to help with exactly that.

📘 Just 20–25 minutes a day.

Should you choose a partner with your heart or your head?

What we usually describe as “my heart is pulling me toward him” is often actually that person matching your deep inner image of what a partner should be. And yes, chemistry plays a role too.

We all carry this inner image. And when someone seems to fit it, that “unexplainable” attraction kicks in.

So if you keep feeling drawn to people who end up bringing you more pain than joy, it may be time to look at your inner image of love, partnership, and relationships.

Because that’s probably where the pattern begins.
