Kitti Angyal I Help Founders and CEOs Who Are Wired at Night & Fix Sleep Issues Caused by Stress/Overthinking In 6 month DM “SLEEP” for a free sleep audit.

I work with founders and CEOs who look successful but struggle to switch off at night. Using hypnotherapy, I help reset the nervous system so you can sleep deeply, recover properly, and perform at your best. My 6-week Founder Sleep Reset is designed for high-performers dealing with racing thoughts, 3AM wake-ups, and burnout.

One of the biggest misconceptions about high performance is that it comes from pushing harder.

In reality, many founders and business owners are already pushing hard enough and they dont even realize.

What they're actually missing is recovery. And no, not because they're lazy nor because they lack discipline.

Because somewhere along the way, being constantly switched on started to feel normal & that can quickly become dangerous.

So..the challenge is that the same state that helps you handle pressure can eventually start affecting your sleep, decision making, focus, creativity, and emotional resilience.

Recovery is not something you earn after success.

It's actually one of the things that helps make success sustainable.

Have you ever noticed a difference in your thinking or decision making after a period of proper recovery? 🧐

Hey Everyone! Another Monday is up on us.
Decided that every Monday I put some useful insights together in an article form ( don't worry ...3-5min so will not hook ya up on your phone too long ☺️)

For a long time, I thought being exhausted was just part of being responsible.

Back when I was managing large teams in hospitality, my mind never really switched off.

There was always another shift to cover. ( Good to wake up at 5;30am knowing someone got sick..) Plus another problem to solve. Another person depending on me. Every. Damn. Day.

Even when I got home, the conversations continued in my head.

I wasn't lying awake because I wasn't necessarily tired.

I was lying awake because my nervous system had forgotten how to feel safe enough to rest.

The strange part is that from the outside, life looked successful.

I was working hard. Ask anyone seriously!
Getting things done & Handling responsibility, weekdays, weekends...

What I didn't realize though at the time was that surviving and recovering are very different states.

Many people spend years functioning in survival mode without noticing it because it becomes their normal.

That experience is one of the reasons I became so interested in the connection between stress, sleep, performance, and the subconscious patterns that keep us stuck in constant alertness.

I recently wrote an article about it if you'd like to read more:

Have you ever gone through a period where your body was exhausted but your mind simply wouldn't stop?

Founders and leaders often appear successful on the outside, yet many feel totally trapped in a relentless cycle of stress and urgency. They do struggle to switch off, feel mentally overloaded, and carry a constant pressure that never seems to ease. This experience is not just about having too much....

Did you know your performance might be influenced by your genes more than you think?

Some people naturally feel sharper at 6am.
Others suddenly become more creative and focused later in the evening.

Yet so many founders and high performers keep trying to force themselves into the same “perfect” productivity routine because that’s what success culture promotes.

The interesting part is that working against your natural rhythm for long enough can slowly impact:

- sleep
- focus
- stress levels
- recovery
- emotional regulation

Sometimes the issue isn’t lack of discipline.

Sometimes your nervous system simply works differently.

This questionnaire around chronotypes and sleep patterns is quite interesting from a performance perspective:

[Morningness-Eveningness Questionnaire (MEQ)](https://qxmd.com/calculate/calculator_829/morningness-eveningness-questionnaire-meq?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

I’d actually be curious how many people here discovered they perform best at completely different hours than they were “supposed” to.

Many founders become HIGHLY SKILLED at functioning under pressure.

Over time, constant mental stimulation, responsibility, and decision-making can create a state where slowing down feels unfamiliar, even during rest. Sleep becomes lighter & lighter, recovery feels incomplete, and focus starts requiring more effort than before.

I find the psychology behind this fascinating because externally someone may appear productive and successful while internally carrying a completely different experience.

I’m curious how others here navigate this personally.

What has had the biggest positive impact on your clarity, recovery, or overall well-being while building your business?

Most Founders struggle with recovery, such as poor sleep, constant mental load & never really able to to switch their mind off which will impact many things such as performance, decision making.

So hosting a small practical workshop on nervous system recovery, sleep & sustainable high performance for Founders and high- performers.

The older I get, the more I value calm people. Seriously.

People who don’t judge constantly.
People who can stay soft without becoming weak.
People who went through difficult things but still chose kindness.😇

There’s already so much noise everywhere & I think peaceful energy is becoming rare.

My dream life honestly has nothing to do with status.

Just freedom.
Nature.
Meaningful work.
Animals.
Healthy relationships.
A regulated nervous system.
And raising my child in a softer way than many of us experienced growing up.

Have a great weekend 😊

I honestly think many people are not lazy or unmotivated anymore.

They’re exhausted.🫤

Too much information, too much comparison.
Too much pressure to constantly improve, heal, succeed, optimize and keep up with everything.

At some point the nervous system just says “enough.”

I had periods where I judged myself for being inconsistent, but now I realize energy matters more than forcing.

Some seasons are for pushing, some are for grounding.
Some are simply for surviving and reconnecting with yourself again.

And I think that’s okay.😊

Take it easy today!

I think one of the strangest things today is that we’re expected to constantly be visible online while also trying to stay mentally healthy.

Sometimes I genuinely want to disappear from social media completely.

Not because I don’t care about my work.
But because everything can start feeling performative so quickly.

AI content.
Algorithms.
Constant posting.
Everyone trying to become a brand.

And yet… if you stay invisible, people never really get to see what you carry inside.

I’m still trying to find a healthy balance between sharing my work and protecting my peace.

Maybe visibility doesn’t need to come from being loud.

Maybe consistency and honesty are enough.🧐

I used to operate in a constant state of pressure.

From the outside, it looked like high performance for some. Fast decisions. Full ownership. Always “on before the day would have even started.

But internally, it was different.

My mind never really switched off. Replaying conversations, carrying responsibility, thinking three steps ahead at all times and not even for myself for what if someone would do a certain mistake and play that scenario out too. Over time, clarity started to fade, even though I was doing more.

When I stepped away from that environment back in 2016 I finally had the space to ask a better question:

What if the real challenge wasn’t the workload but how I was processing it?
That question was already my first step to make changes in my life and that was also one of the reasons that led me to hypnotherapy.
I was curious as back then a friend suggested me to try.
I tried regular hypnotherapy but also RTT ( Rapid transformational therapy).
Regular hypnotherapy was amazing but it never got to the root cause of my issues I've been dealing with.

RTT has led me to see patterns I was never aware of simply because my mind was always somewhere else always solving issues or planning the next move.

It helped me clear the mental noise, break the patterns of constant overthinking, and rebuild a calmer, more focused way of operating.

And that shift changed everything.

So today, I help founders and leaders do the same, not by removing pressure, but by changing their relationship with it completely so their mind and body can feel safe again.

Because when your mind is clear, your decisions, leadership, and life follow I can guarantee that.

Curious… have you ever experienced that kind of mental overload or have you ever thought about fixing issues beside regular talk therapy or my favorite one..( I can fix this by myself 🤓)
