Grupo de Pesquisa em Biologia Óssea An interdisciplinary group dedicated to research on bone biology.

The Grupo de Pesquisa em Biologia Óssea (Bone Biology Research Group) was established in 2014 to investigate major aspects in the field of bone biology. Located at the Department of Physiology and Pathology from the Faculty of Dentistry at Araraquara, the Bone Biology Research Laboratory is the headquarters of the group composed by dentists and pharmaceuticals. Currently, the group has its focus i

n two major areas:

-The role of inflammation on bone modeling
-The influence of bioamterials on bone cells differentiation and activity. The group is focused in identification of major signaling pathways involved in osteoblasts and osteoclasts differentiation, aiming to find important mechanisms involved in the processes of bone resorption and bone formation.
