On the highly auspicious day of August 2, 2026, Daga Hospital was deeply honored to host the sacred hoisting of 108 prayer flags alongside the profound Menlha Choga (Medicine Buddha Blessing) ritual.
The hospital administration, staff, supporting staff and patients offer their deepest reverence and heartfelt gratitude to the Venerable Lam Neten of Daga Rabdey, Dagana, for graciously presiding over these sacred ceremonies.
We are immensely thankful to the Venerable Lam Neten for dedicating his precious time to bestow profound Kago wang (empowerment) upon our staff, patients, and the gathering public. His compassionate presence has brought immense peace and spiritual healing to our community.
Furthermore, we invoke deep gratitude for the sacred purification (Selkha) of all clinical rooms, patient wards and hospital surroundings. This spiritual cleansing has transformed our hospital into a sanctuary of healing, dispelling obstacles and invoking the medicine deities to ensure the swift recovery of our patients and the continued well-being of our dedicated healthcare team.
May the merits accumulate from this virtuous day bring ultimate health, peace, and prosperity to all sentient beings.
We Would like to thank our Daga Rabdey for supports, ADPHO office,friend circle of Drungtsho Kinzang Wangdue for donation of Dhar and cash, former Adm Asst. Tshering Yangzom for offering Menlha Namzaa, friend circle of Sonam Choden for preparing Tsho, Dorji Zam and her family and all staff & supporting staff of Daga Hospital who are involved for this successful event.

Daga Hospital would like to sincerely thank Druk Green Power Corporation Limited, Thimphu for their generous donation of office furniture to our hospital.

The donated items have been distributed across various departments and are already contributing to improved comfort and functionality for both our staff and patients.

We also extend our appreciation to the Dagana Dzongkhag Administration for their kind support in facilitating the transportation of the items to Daga Hospital.
