Africa is the richest continent on earth. Resource-wise, no one else comes close.
So why are we still here?
We love to admire China's innovation. Their ingenuity. Their discipline. But we rarely ask the question that actually matters: what did they take seriously that we didn't?
Not their minerals. Not their land.
Their people. Their children. Their future leaders. They invested in developing their current and future leaders. Their thinking, how they see the world, how they create and innovate.
Meanwhile, we keep having the same conversation about "bad leadership" like it fell from the sky. Like it wasn't grown. Like every leader failing us today wasn't once a child nobody invested in.We can keep blaming the leaders we have.Or we can start building the ones we haven't met yet.
Every teenager you're not pouring into right now is a future leader forming anyway just without direction.Without the capacity to think clearly, decide intentionally, or lead themselves before they're handed a nation, a company, a household to lead.Every presently incapacitated leader is a disaster waiting to happen to their business, organization or nation.
This narrative won't shift by accident. It shifts on purpose. And it starts absurdly small with one child, one teenager, one decision to take their development as seriously as any innovative nation takes theirs. One decision that an organization takes to invest in their human capital.
What would this continent look like if we did?
