Strengthening Partnerships for a Healthier Botswana

The Botswana HIV Clinicians Society extends its sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs - Botswana for warmly hosting our delegation Madam Chairperson Dr Virginia Letsatsi & the Executive Secretary Neo Nuxy Monwela during a successful courtesy call and stakeholder engagement meeting.

We are grateful for the Ministry's openness, commitment, and shared vision of strengthening collaboration in Botswana's HIV response. The discussions reaffirmed the critical role that multisectoral partnerships, community leadership, and local governance play in achieving sustainable health outcomes and accelerating progress towards ending HIV as a public health threat by 2030

As we prepare for the 9th Botswana International HIV Conference 2026, we value the Ministry's support in promoting community-centred approaches, resilient health systems, and innovative solutions that leave no one behind.

Together, we are building stronger partnerships, empowering communities, and creating lasting impact for the people of Botswana.
Thank you, Ministry of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, for your partnership, hospitality, and commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our nation.
