The organisation is focusing on addressing mental health issues. The organisation is focusing on addressing mental health issues, which are more than the absence of a mental disorder; it is the ability to think, learn, and understand one's emotions and the reactions of others. We have a mandate of coming up with ways in how to assist people living with mental disorders and to sensitize community m

embers . The organization does mental health empowerment sessions, counselling sessions, stress managements ,educate the community through campaigns,encourage clients to engage themselves in arts and sport activities as a form of therapy.

We are proud to announce that our Founder and Executive Director, Mr Edward Masukudu, will be speaking at the Southern Africa Civil Society Dialogue on Mental Health Integration & QualityRights 2026.

Mr Masukudu will contribute to the structured dialogue on “Safe Inclusion of Lived Experience in Advocacy, Programming and Leadership,” sharing insights drawn from both his professional work and lived experience.

At Masego Mental Health Organization, we believe that meaningful mental health systems are built by listening to and empowering people with lived experience. Their voices are essential in shaping inclusive policies, strengthening advocacy, and transforming services that truly respond to the needs of communities.

This invitation is not only a recognition of Mr Masukudu’s leadership, but also a testament to the work our organization continues to do in advancing mental health awareness, fighting stigma, and promoting recovery, dignity, and human rights.

Child protection is everyone’s responsibility. Together, we can create safe spaces where children are heard, protected, and empowered to thrive. Let us continue to speak out against abuse, promote mental well-being, and build communities where every child grows up free from violence and fear.

Supporting Those Who Shape the Future. 🍎🧠💚

Masego Mental Health Organization, in partnership with Thusang Bana Centre, had the privilege of facilitating the Teachers’ Mental Health & Well-being Programme at Moruakgomo CJSS in Molepolole.

The session focused on promoting self-care, stress management, positive workplace relationships, and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. We were also honoured to share a lived experience journey, reminding educators that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Healthy teachers create healthy classrooms, and by investing in their well-being, we are investing in the future of our children.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Thusang Bana Centre, all facilitators, and every teacher who participated and contributed to making the programme a success.

This morning, the Masego Mental Health team had the honour of facilitating a workplace mental health awareness session during the morning brief at Kweneng District Council,Molepolole.

Together, we explored the importance of mental well-being in the workplace, recognising the signs of mental health challenges, reducing stigma, and fostering a culture of support, empathy, and resilience.

Wrapping up Men’s Mental Health Month in style at Office of the Auditor-General Botswana 🇧🇼💙

Today was more than an event, it was a meaningful conversation and a reminder to men that their mental health matters too.

Representing Masego Mental Health, Mr Edward Masukudu shared a message close to his heart: men deserve to love themselves, give themselves grace, and not place their value on lifestyle pressure, status, expectations, or trying to keep up with society. Too often men carry silent battles while feeling expected to stay strong at all times.

Mr Masukudu encouraged men to “audit” their mental health space, to check in with themselves, ask for help when needed, heal, speak openly, and choose wellness.

Thank you to Office of the Auditor-General Botswana 🇧🇼 for creating a platform that reminds men and fathers that seeking support is strength, not weakness.

What a powerful day at the Gaborone Mayor’s Marathon! 🏃🏾‍♀️💚🏃🏾‍♂️

Masego Mental Health proudly participated in this inspiring event to raise awareness on Mental Health and fight Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). Beyond the run, we shared educational pamphlets, connected with fellow stakeholders, encouraged healthy lifestyles, and engaged with the community through fun and meaningful activities.

Masego Mental Health Organization conducted a Mental Health Psychoeducation session at Dithejwane Junior Secondary School in Molepolole, creating a platform for learners to learn, engage, and share their experiences.

The activity included interactive focus group discussions that encouraged open conversations about mental health, emotional well being, and seeking support when needed.
