As we close the chapter on the CAP Spring Meeting 2026, we do so with immense gratitude and pride.

Over the past few days, Belize had the privilege of hosting pharmacists and healthcare professionals from across the Caribbean for a meaningful exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experiences. Through continuing education, research presentations, professional discussions, and fellowship, we strengthened not only our profession but also the relationships that unite us as a region.

The Pharmacists Association of Belize extends its sincere appreciation to our delegates, presenters, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and organizing team whose support made this event possible. Your contributions helped create an experience that was both impactful and memorable.

Press Release: The Pharmacists Association of Belize (PAB) issues this statement regarding prescription medications and oral contraceptives.

Following stakeholder discussions with the Ministry of Health and Wellness, a twelve-month phased implementation has been agreed for prescription dispensing requirements, allowing continued access for patients with chronic conditions while reinforcing the need for valid prescriptions. Additionally, oral contraceptive dispensing remains available to known users, with a formal protocol currently under review, and the Over-the-Counter (OTC) medicines Pharmacy list has been reopened for revision.
