Thinking back to my 3 day winter camping trip in Algonquin. Testing lots of new gear, this tent being the highlight. It was my first time in a proper 4 season double walled tent and it's pretty amazing the difference it makes. Having a fully enclosed vestibule to sit and cook in was really convenient and adds so much to the comfort of the trip. 🙌🔥

From my first night solo winter camping in Kawartha Highlands. It was only supposed to be -20c but it actually hit -30c over night and triggered an extreme cold weather warning for the area. At that temperature trees were cracking all around me and when it was close it was shockingly loud. I was a little hesitant to see how I would handle being alone in the wilderness, but in the end I found it incredibly therapeutic and rewarding.

One of the big highlights of 2019, getting to work with an idol of mine Matthew Libatique (Black Swan, The Fountain, A Star Is Born) What an awesome experience it was to watch him work and to create with him. The job was a commercial for a new Star Wars video game. Great fun!
