When going through donations of family history material, we generally focus on retaining materials that add to the stories of lives lived. However, many donors are often overwhelmed with what to do with other items that were treasured at one time or another.

We have one case in particular who wants to find a home for the following collections:
Readers’ Digest magazines
County Magazines
Bibles (not family bibles)
Books on Religion
Books & publications on Farm Tractors

Summers at Massassaga Point --
Massassaga Point is at the most easterly part of Ameliasburgh Township.A large marsh separates it from Huff's Island. During the late 19th century, a popular summer resort was built there which featured mineral baths, horseback riding and other outdoor sports. The resort at one time encompassed 400 acres. In 1971 Prince Edward Conservation Authority bought 60 acres and began a conservation area.
