What a day at Providential Living Baie Verte! 🐟☀️

The caplin were rolling, and so were our amazing seniors! Both the men and the women pitched in to clean, salt, and get the caplin ready for drying. There was plenty of laughter, storytelling, and teamwork, making it a true Newfoundland tradition.
A huge thank you to everyone who lent a hand today. Days like this are about more than preparing caplin—they’re about preserving our heritage, creating memories, and enjoying great company. We sure have the best bunch of seniors around!
But Hope the caplin dries nicely now—another Newfoundland tradition carried on with pride! 🐟😊

Our beautiful seniors had a wonderful time enjoying a sweet treat, sharing lots of laughs, and making more special memories together
For the seniors who were unable to join us on the walk, we made sure to bring ice cream treats back to them so they could enjoy the fun too. ❤️
A big thank you to everyone who helped make this outing possible. We truly appreciate your kindness and support. A special thank you to the wonderful servers at the ice cream store for the friendly service and warm welcome—you helped make our visit extra special!
