This is not the announcement I thought I would be posting this week.

I truly don’t have the words to describe how we are feeling, or the fear and sadness of what comes next.
And I also know my heart cannot handle having this conversation over and over, hence the horrifically vulnerable post.

We are heading into a week of genetic specialists and surgery and hopefully answers to something that feels so incredibly unfair.

I am taking the rest of September off to heal and recover. If you are a client of mine you will have an email in your inbox waiting for you.

To all our family and friends who have loved on us the last several months and continue to love on us, thank you, we feel it and we are stronger because of it.

There are some things you just can’t plan for when it comes to birth.

A live harpist outside your delivery room providing the most angelic soundtrack to your labour being one of them.

A gentle reminder to leave room for the unexpected in birth, because sometimes those unexpected moments become treasured memories woven into your story.
