What does it mean to live Bhakti?
I had the honour of celebrating Gaṇeśa Chaturthī in Winnipeg with Shell, Anton and a beautiful community of souls.
I was invited to share pūjā and ritual — and this is one of the places my heart feels most at home.
Because Bhakti is so much more than something we learn.
Bhakti is love lived.
It is devotion.
It is offering.
It is learning to be of service to one another.
It is remembering the Divine in ourselves and learning to recognize that same Divine presence in everyone we meet.
The practice becomes:
How can I love more deeply?
How can I serve?
How can I bring more joy, kindness and beauty into this precious life?
This is yoga too.
I am so grateful for saṅgha. For community. For good friends. For chosen family. For the people who remind us that we were never meant to walk this path alone.
And most of all, I am grateful for love.
May Śrī Gaṇeśa clear the obstacles before us and may we have the wisdom to recognize the ones within us.
Jai Gaṇeśa. 🙏🏽🐘
ॐ गं गणपतये नमः
Oṁ Gaṁ Gaṇapataye Namaḥ
May everything we do become an offering.
