Today’s quote comes from Kathy Tyler and Joy Drake.

🧭 Exploring new paths encourages us to move beyond what feels familiar and discover what supports us in unexpected ways.

🌄 Embracing adventure helps us stay open to experiences that shape who we are becoming.

🌿 Letting go of outcomes allows the journey to unfold naturally without pressure to control every step.

Let’s pause to notice the small moments that brought happiness today.

💛 Little highlights remind us that joy often shows up quietly.

💙 Intentional noticing helps us slow down and appreciate what felt good, even for a moment.

💜 Daily reflection supports grounding and creates space for gratitude in simple ways.

A small insight from Brainspotting training about the power of listening.

🧠 Intentional pause supports regulation. When we slow down our own responses, it gives us room to settle, think, and feel.

👂 Deep listening strengthens attunement. WAIT reminds us to notice whether speaking is helpful or if silence would offer more clarity.

❤️‍🩹 Space to process allows people to gather their thoughts without pressure. Healing often happens in the moments where we simply hold the space.

A gentle reminder that our cracks don’t make us weak. They make us human.

💛 Imperfection shows us that healing isn’t about being flawless. It’s about being honest with what hurts and what’s growing.

💙 Light through the cracks reminds us that insight, resilience, and connection often come from the places we’ve struggled.

💜 Strength in being real helps us move forward with compassion for ourselves and others who are navigating their own broken pieces.

Exciting news! I am traveling to Winnipeg for a Brainspotting Intensive.

📘 I am truly excited to deepen my training and expand the support I can offer. Advanced learning brings new tools, new perspectives, and new ways to help clients move through their healing.

🧠 Expanding my practice means being able to show up with even more precision, attunement, and confidence in sessions.

💬 Staying connected is important to me. I’ll still be reachable while I’m away, though reply times may vary. Please reach out if you need support.

This week’s quote came from the couples workshop held last week.

💞 Healing in relationships can mean being seen, heard, and supported while you work through hard things together.

🧩 Connection offers a space for honesty, repair, and growth, especially when both people are willing to show up for the process.

👜 Allowing someone to join you on the journey can create accountability, comfort, and a sense that you’re not carrying everything by yourself.

A quiet reflection after the storm slowed everything down.

🕊️ Unexpected stillness. Storms often force a pause we didn’t plan for, giving us a moment to see what’s been moving too fast.

💡 When routines stop, even briefly, certain thoughts, needs, or feelings become clearer.

🦋 The clarity that comes from a disrupted day can help guide how you move through the rest of the week.

⌨️ Feel free to share your reflections in the comments or email me at [email protected]

Happy Canada Day!

🍁 Honouring our land reminds us that Canada’s story begins with Indigenous peoples whose histories and relationships with this land continue today.

🧭 Learning our shared past helps us understand both the celebrations and the complexities woven into Canada’s identity. Growth comes from listening, reflecting, and staying open.

🌱 Strengthening community happens in everyday acts — supporting neighbours, showing kindness, and nurturing the places we call home.

⌨️ Feel free to share what Canada Day means to you in the comments or email me at [email protected]

A small insight into how children’s sensory systems shape their behaviour.

🧠 Sensory overload happens when too much noise, movement, or stimulation hits the nervous system faster than a child can process. Their reactions are protective, not intentional.

🎧 Early cues, like covering ears, pacing, withdrawing, or getting “extra silly,” are the body’s way of saying the environment is becoming too overwhelming.

🔈 Supportive adjustments such as lowering volume, offering a quiet space, or slowing the pace help children return to regulation and reduce overwhelm.
