Check out a way to include your picky eaters in family nacho night and still continue with exposures. Nachos with 3 sections.

- meat, cheese, veggie medley (top of picture)
- meat, light on the cheese, corn (middle of picture)
- just cheese (bottom of picture)

For an added bonus, we used flax seed tortilla chips too for a bit of food chaining to expand preferred plain tortilla chips.

The blueberry bagel was originally shown as a half in the upper portion of the image. However, it was rejected because of the "chunks." I proceeded to cut it into smaller pieces to make the chunks less overwhelming and surprising. It was also easier to pick out the chunks. This adjustment proved successful for this particular picky eater.

It's important to recognize that many picky eaters harbor fears of trying new foods. Therefore, discovering methods to alleviate those fears can be a beneficial strategy.

Printing is NOT just about holding a pencil and sitting at a desk! It’s NOT just about fingers/hands! We address shoulder and core strength, coordination, hand-eye coordination, visual motor skills, spatial awareness- all through play, and led by a registered occupational therapist.
