Your tongue has a home - and it's NOT the bottom of your mouth!
Low tongue posture contributes to:
Mouth breathing
Jaw tension and headaches
Clenching and grinding
Snoring
Poor sleep
Forward head posture
And the list goes on...
Try this:
Say "N"
Keep the tip of your tongue there (right behind your front teeth, but not on your teeth!)
Life the whole tongue up to the palate (that's right - the middle and back portion of your tongue too!)
Close your lips, with teeth not touching, and breathe through the nose
Hold for 20 seconds.
If this feels hard, that's information - not failure.
Comment POSTURE if you tried it!

And a personal fyi! Can you tell that I have a tongue tie?! I will be getting a tongue tie release after my pregnancy! Myofunctional therapy alone has completely eliminated clenching and grinding for me, and drastically improved my sleep.
