Posted • .bright.side.of.life_ This past week’s episode of The Bright Side of life is one of inspiration.
Ginn has went through so much and she chose to be a survivor rather than a victim.
When she remembered the terrible event that happened to her as a little girl, she took back control of her life.
Something she hadn’t done for years. Before remembering her traumatic event, Ginn went through several addictions, s*x, drugs, food, overworking to name a few.
She couldn’t understand why she was this way. All she knew is she wanted to numb a pain that was there. But didn’t know why the pain was there in the first place.
But once she made the decision to take her life back, she did the work to heal.
She has done so much work on healing that she finally feels that it’s time to open up about her story.
She wants to be the hope for someone else that might be struggling with opening up.
It’s not easy to do that, but if you choose to do so, you are giving hope to someone else. And that’s one of the greatest gifts we can give another human.
Thank you for sharing your story đź’›
