After exploring Stockholm through a documentary, they hit the dance floor for an ABBA disco and line dancing party, complete with Swedish-inspired refreshments. What a summer!

Thanks to the incredible efforts of our residences and communities across the country, this year’s National Summer Fundraiser raised an amazing $170,000 for Chartwell Wish of a Lifetime - Rêver pour la vie!

Throughout the summer, residents, employees, families, and community members came together through creative events and activities, all with one goal in mind: helping grant meaningful wishes for seniors across Canada.

Thank you to everyone who organized an event, participated, donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word. This incredible result belongs to all of you.

💙 Stepping Together for Parkinson’s!
This past Sunday, September 20, our team and residents were happy to take part in the Calgary Parkinson Step ’n Stride! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
It was a great day to get outside, stay active, connect with our community, and show our support for people living with Parkinson’s, their families, and caregivers.
We had such a great time being part of the event — here are a few photos from the day! 📸💙
Thank you to the Parkinson Association of Alberta for bringing everyone together for such a meaningful event!

The weather didn’t cooperate, but that didn’t stop the managers at The Edward from getting soaked for a great cause! Thanks to the generosity of our residents, we raised an amazing amount of money. The camaraderie was wonderful, the laughter contagious, and a great time was had by all.
