PSA 💜After cleaning up water in the basement for a couple hours, I’m now sitting around waiting for the city to come unplug my waterline. 😢
Seems like a good time to remind everyone that one single tampon or one single baby wipe easily causes a dam.
Those things DO NOT decompose.
I’m living in an old house built in the 60s and my water main is made of clay. And everywhere there is a joint in the line, little tree roots come in to get a drink. One tampon or one baby wipe snags on a tree root and I have water backing up in the basement.
You might think that one little thing down the toilet isn’t a big deal, but I assure you it is. 😉

Why did your Brazilian hurt more than usual today (the real reasons):
• Hair length was off — too short or too long = more tug. Sugaring works best on hair that’s roughly ¼–½ inch (about 3–6 mm).
• Hormones (period, cycle, stress) lower your pain threshold. Skin feels more sensitive.
• Skin was already sensitive (recent sun exposure, retinoids, acids, or aggressive exfoliation thin the stratum corneum and make nerve endings more reactive)
• Dehydration, caffeine, fatigue, or new meds made nerves louder
•If you’ve been picking at the area, the tissue is already sensitized.
✨Proper exfoliation and moisturizing between appointments usually reduce this.
Same body, different day = different sensation. Totally normal.
