Lughnasadh summer harvest lessons from a back alley raspberry patch:

1. Even if you get planted in a place you didn’t plan on, growth still happens.

2. Fruit takes time.

3. When it’s time to harvest it can help to shift your perspective. Ask yourself where you haven’t looked. You never know what’s waiting underneath.

4. Harvest can be messy and it can hurt sometimes on the way to the sweet spots.

5. Remember to take a deep breath and soak in the moment when you harvest.

6. Share what you grow in community, it will go further than you think.

Happy all! What are you harvesting with the land or in your heart?

PS - I haven’t put one of these on here before, but as far as disclaimers go remember this may be a new therapy business account but this isn’t therapy. It’s just instagram and a place where I think out loud sometimes so you can get an idea of some of the ways I show up in the world. If you think I might be fit for you, reach out and let’s have a chat. Free 45-minute consultations available.

Grateful to some intrepid colleagues at Riverwest Therapy Collective for joining me on another one of my practice group forest bathing walks this weekend as I continue my training with Association of Nature & Forest Therapy
🌿
Lots of learning and noticing reconnecting and slowing down. Something we admitted we all needed to intentionally step out of the frenetic pace of our lives.
🌿
Thanks for joining Taylor Callaghan and Felicia Bibeau 🌙 | ADHD & Trauma Therapist | Calgary 🇨🇦
🌿
Want to join me next time? Check the link in my bio. I have three pay-what-you-can walks coming up in the next few months: June 27, July 4 & July 11. I’d love to be your guide. 🌳💫

Well, just like that, on a rainy windy June week, we wrapped up our Spring Good Grief group. Protecting each other’s memory candles in our last gathering with the theme of ritual. What an honour it is to volunteer to walk alongside others in community in their grief. We’re not meant to do any of this alone folks. Summer group starts July 8, join us or share with someone that might need some community too.

Via Friends of Fish Creek Provincial Park Society
-The Good Grief program offers an 8-week series of gentle nature walks in Fish Creek Park. Walk in nature with caring volunteer companions.
This is an on-going weekly program that combines gentle walking in nature with reflection and sharing. It is designed to support adults who are grieving. Each week follows one of our core themes to deepen reflection and connection. The Summer 2026 series goes from July 8 to Aug 26, 7-8:30 pm on Wednesday evenings.

Tell me you are GenX without telling me you are GenX… 🤦‍♀️

So I may not be great at these Insta Reels, can’t quite figure out the Carousel posts, and my posts are way too wordy for the algorithm, but I sure do feel at home covering community associations and coffee shops with an OG flyer… 🥰
🌱
Want to ditch the online world for a while too??
🌱
I’m offering pay-what-you-can public Forest Bathing group walks as I finish up my training with and I’d love it if you could join me in the trees!
🌱
Saturday June 24, July 4 & 11
Bebo Grove, Fish Creek Park
🌱
Let’s gather offline and reconnect our hearts to what our bodies already know.
🌱
Let’s gather to recharge our weary souls.
🌱
Let’s breathe a little deeper than we have in awhile.

Ahh…. this spruce tip tea tasted as lovely as it looks. So grateful to have connected with some new .sinc colleagues today on this Canada’s first National Forest Therapy Day!

We gathered to celebrate and experience the new official Forest Bathing trail at the Inglewood bird sanctuary in partnership with and to grow in community together.

I’ve had such a busy start to this spring season as I finish off my own guide training so I was extra grateful for the time to slow down and reconnect.

Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku, Forest Bathing helps us all connect more with our senses, with nature, and ultimately ourselves.

is the theme for this first annual so why not some fun and meet a tree near you?!

See you in the trees. 🌳✨

We made it! Happy Beltane! 🎊
Beltane marks the light half of the year and it’s a celebration of spring’s new energy! A Celtic holiday long associated with a connection between people and the natural world, it’s a season that invites active participation and play rather than observation.

This is the time to stop planning and start creating, celebrating, and stepping fully into what is beginning to take shape for you.
👊
It’s also when growth and connection are no longer hidden underground or just beginning to emerge, it’s visible, active, and impossible to ignore. Finally, warmth, movement, attraction, and vitality are returning to the land in full force.
🌱
So it seemed fitting that this beautiful little crocus I’ve been watching for weeks on one of my daily walk spots finally popped up today! Wishing everyone joy and celebration in your day as we cast off the darkness and celebrate the light!
