We’re recruiting for a NP-led group health visit study in PEI. Participants will learn about diabetes management, connect with others, and receive support from a Nurse Practitioner and team of health professionals. Welcome to our page dedicated to a new PEI research study exploring Nurse Practitioner‑led group health visits for adults living with Type 2 diabetes who do not currently have a primary care provider.

This project is led by Dr. Rianne Carragher, NP, Lindsay Metzger, NP, Dr. Margie Burns, RN, and Lindsey Smith, RN PhD(c). To our knowledge, this is the first NP‑led initiative on PEI aimed at improving access to diabetes care for adults without a primary care provider.
