Our hearts are so full. ❤️

Tonight marked our very first evening with participants, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better start.

Months of planning, preparing, training, and building relationships with our incredible horses came together in ways that reminded us exactly why we started Hooves and Hearts. Watching confidence grow, smiles appear, and meaningful connections form between our participants and the horses made every late night and every hour of hard work worth it.

And honestly… is it possible to love your horses even more? 🐴💕 They continue to amaze us with their patience, kindness, and ability to meet each person exactly where they are.

This is only the beginning, and we are so excited to watch our students grow in confidence, communication, independence, and joy throughout the season.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Hooves and Hearts and believed in our vision. You’re helping make moments like these possible.

Meet Mrs. Frizzle! 🤎

Our youngest and biggest mini horse is one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet. At just 6 years old, Mrs. Frizzle has been part of the Hooves and Hearts family since November 2025, and she has been winning hearts ever since.

💕 Her favorite things?
🐴 Nose kisses
🌳 Going for walks
❤️ Spending time with her very best friend, Spirit.

Did you know that Mrs. Frizzle and Spirit came to Rookie Ranch together? Their friendship is truly something special. Whether they’re grazing side by side, exploring the farm, or waiting for scratches from visitors, they’re almost always together. It’s a beautiful reminder that friendship, trust, and companionship come in all shapes and sizes.

Mrs. Frizzle’s gentle personality and curious nature make her a wonderful ambassador for our therapeutic farm. We can’t wait for our participants to build confidence, connection, and unforgettable memories with her.

🤎✨ Stable Stories Sunday ✨🤎

Meet one of the smallest members of our herd with one of the biggest hearts… Spirit! 🐴❤️

Spirit is estimated to be 12 years old and has been part of our Rookie Ranch and Hooves & Hearts family since November 2025. Since the day he arrived, he’s been winning hearts everywhere he goes.

A few fun facts about Spirit:
🌟 He LOVES a good scratch.
🍬 His favorite treat is pink peppermints.
🖤 He has a beautiful dorsal stripe (sometimes called a “racing stripe”) that runs from his mane all the way to his tail.
👧👦 Two of his favorite people are Grayson and Brielle, who always make him feel loved.

This year, Spirit is taking on a very special role as one of our Hooves & Hearts therapy minis. We know he’s going to help build confidence, encourage communication, and create unforgettable connections with the amazing participants he’ll meet. We think he’s just as excited as we are! 💛

Sorry for the delay! We have reached a snag in facebook live, we have not been a page for 60 days so we cannot do a live video. BUT, we recorded and here it is............. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Thank you again to everyone who made this possible! Carpenter's Union Apprentice Competition, Tiny Creek Ranch, Sylvie's Silkies and Sharpe's Azilda for having the coop shown on the property. Congrats to the winner!!! We will be calling you shortly!
