The Langley Anchor Project is a community-based initiative designed to support youth and families before situations escalate into crisis. At its core, the Anchor is a place to land — a safe, judgment-free space where individuals can pause, connect, and access support in the moments that matter most. Rather than responding after crisis, the project focuses on early intervention, offering emotional

regulation tools, connection, and guidance when challenges first arise. Through its initial Youth Stability & Safety Program and future 24/7 support model, the Langley Anchor Project is working to bridge the gap between immediate need and long-term care — helping individuals build stability, strengthen relationships, and remain connected to their community. This is more than a program. It is a shift toward prevention, connection, and a new way of supporting one another.

Volunteer Board Directors Wanted — Unpaid Governance Role

LuckeLife Society, a registered Canadian charity serving children, youth, individuals and families in Langley, is growing its volunteer Board of Directors.

We are looking for community-minded people who believe strong communities are built through connection, practical support and belonging.

This is a volunteer governance position. There is no salary or compensation for serving as a Director.

We would especially welcome people with experience or interest in areas such as community services, children and youth, disability, finance/bookkeeping, governance, business, fundraising, communications or community development.

You do not need to be an expert in all of these areas. We are building a Board with different experiences, perspectives and strengths.

What we're asking: approximately one Board meeting per month, reasonable preparation and participation between meetings, and a willingness to help guide LuckeLife responsibly as it grows.

What we're offering: an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of a local charity from the ground up and contribute your experience to work that strengthens our community.

Interested doesn't mean committed. We would be happy to start with a conversation.

Community isn't something we find. It's something we create.

“You Belong”

What if you walked into a room and already belonged?

No proving yourself.
No pretending.

For the image, I’d make the dominant words simply:

YOU BELONG.

Then underneath:

The LuckeLife Experience

That gives someone the emotional message in literally a second or two.
